Nope. Introducing PAST ME. Also we can see your small text when we hit quote... or drag into a search bar (or other). Got4n the Crash Warped movement is a bit crazy and you have to do it in analog to get the fastest movement (see pirohiko's comparison in Crash 2 forums). Hence why we are all waiting on Playstation to be added to Bizhawk.

I have completed my TAS faster than this. 01:16.0 is the time. (Half-assed + Half-awake still un-optimal) 246 Rerecords. Link to video Eh, might as well add mine now since TASEditor improved on it: User movie #14004487415018093 Then again, I don't care.

Go back over what you did. The ending should be this: "I should be able to float now I think!" LEFT. -end input- "You win" you continue. "You win" LEFT "Okay!" Edit: Voting NO. Why? Unoptimal. at "use elevator" you can just have "up" and going "down" Edit 2 (THE ROUTE): = START = - flip switch - r ENTER - u - l - get shades - r ENTER - get elevator - use shades - use elevator - l ENTER ENTER = DONE =

Error: not enough grammar.
Yea that's the issue of trying to prove a point so late at night that the points don't appear as you want it. I'll try and paraphrase
    - Branch with "No Esc" - Next run to obsolete - Uses Esc to save all crew and skip stuff - Uh.....
Another way of looking at it is like how we have the 1 and 2player TASes. When one is faster than the other the slower one will mention how many players. *yawns* Lets see... Uh the point, the point, right... So calling something "No Esc" and then having a run obsolete it with Escape would put us back where we started trying to figure out a proper branch name. Note: This is all in theory.
Scepheo wrote:
"No ESC" is simple, concise and correct.
I beg to differ... feos' point on the branch name was quite clear. Heck I even agree with his 1 word response to the naming of the non-glitched TAS (Note: I'm writing non-glitched here because it's easier to mention what it was originally known to be on TASVideos).
feos wrote:

If someone want to figure out what I wrote go nuts. Note: It's against "No ESC" as a branch.
(man I love my notes)
Anyways branching it as "No ESC" should be a 2nd last resort and "No Storage" is our last resort.
Anyways I'm going to sleep.

What makes it not properly defined?
Basically it's saying a function which it's not doing and for another run it doesn't mean that it could be used next time to obsolete. It's easier using something that would make more sense by having a better meaning to the branch then going "No Esc". It's much harder to clarify a branch name nowadays because we removed "glitched" branch which made it much easier to place certain runs. An offender to this is Crash 2, we now have the any% run titled "no box glitch" you would only understand this if you play or have an understanding of Crash 2. To note: the original branch name to that was "no memory corruption" So in other words we need to cater the viewer (who has minimum knowledge on that game) a branch name that is sensible and understandable.

"no ESC" sounds silly and doesn't define it properly. Maybe: "no storage", "no wrong warp", "all crew" *shrugs* HEY IT'S BETTER THAN "NO ESC"! With the branch it's similar to SMW "11 Exits"? (Aka doesn't make sense, like me...) There is a better branch name for it (old one) but I cannot recall what it is...

I have one complaint. First Ring Set I counted 2 missed... out of 4 2 Suggestions 1. Zig Zag part (Total of 3) - starts at about 2:41 left on timer 2. Building Skip (Total of 4) - starts at about 2:49 left on timer

The lua script has to be launch as soon as the game start before the piracy warning. But it still is memory editing so the TAS won't be submittable here. EDIT : American version works like a charm but in the PAL version, the platform never goes up so I'm stuck at the beginning of the level.
Ech, that's a bit of a shame x2 (including the edit) Thank you for creating the lua for it.

Okay after that random past me thing. I was thinking Stormy Ascent for a single level TAS. PAL has the fastest movement in Crash... Also it's a single level... so it gives it more of an advantage.
American: D0011DB2 3404 / 80011DB0 0022
European: D0011DD2 3404 / 80011DD0 0022
Japanese: D0011DFA 3404 / 80011DF8 0022
There is mention that this would work under lua scripting but I don't understand how.

I'm just going with the most obvious answer so excuse me on that. Go through these steps within the emulator. Config > Configure "Set BIOS Directory" Locate to where the BIOS is located Bios: Europe v2.20(10/02/2006) (Using mine as an example of what I see) And then check to see if it works... If that doesn't work hunt down another bios from somewhere else. I would link to one but that's not acceptable here.

No I did... that made me more pissed off so I didn't bring it up. Why? Because PCSX2 without rr is a normal emulator lacking TAS elements. Edit: You just have to be patient with 2 things. 1. The next Graphics + Version update which will fix this error. 2. The next rr Build.
