Nominating both the Crash movies, they're both fantastic in their own right for being the same game, and both showcasing something unique whilst abusing both titles. [4492] GBA Crash Bandicoot 2: N-Tranced "N. Tropy" by Gibran in 29:16.64 [4530] GBA Crash Bandicoot 2: N-Tranced "101%" by Gibran in 58:57.87 Gibran honestly did an amazing job here working hard at it.

This has Barney's Hide & Seek Game vibes and as fsvgm777 is more suited to it being an April Fools movie (which it already has been done beforehand). Abstained.

The two movies that you submitted are more suitable for the userfiles than the submissions as this is unfortunately slower than the best Mario run that's on the site (partially due to using the Disk version not the Cartridge one). As mentioned by EZGames69 on your other submission.

Worst jump that currently exists in the game imho: Link to video So bad in fact that I'm providing the userfile. One regret is I couldn't shoot for directly into the door. >.>

Just for the sake of pointing out if you didn't know. [1502] NES Tetris "playaround" by Baxter in 02:17.36, [1596] NES Tetris "maximum score" by Acmlm in 03:11.78 and [4210] NES Tetris "Mode B" by Archanfel & Baxter in 00:36.89 All showcase pause manipulation in one way or another. I guess, good start, hope you look into it more and challenge the already existing playaround.

The TAS was made relatively quickly without revisions as there was a visible error at 46 seconds of the encode which is from the first level alone. It's completely possible to avoid grabbing that can on Pepsi without stumbling on that bush but it wasn't attempted by the author. I'm curious on what other visual errors exists through the TAS, but I have no interests on watching this at the moment. There are also hidden errors fwiw, but they're not visually so it's not worth commenting on them. Abstained vote.

Light Spike removing 11482 frames of blank input just so people understand the higher time was due to letting the credits run, where input ends at final input instead. One more to note, this run is unfortunately slower than the RTA world record as the author of this movie is using the "Newbie Setup" which is almost 5 years old strategies but helps first timers to the scene.

digging up their subtitle stuff in the background Look it's already hard enough to figure out which frame should be the screenshot when there's a lot of similar gameplay between the two. But you managed to save that time by grabbing more red clouds. Anyways, nice improvement I guess? Here's my yes vote.

This is a bump. It's something that people have brought up long after, or the other thread. I want to keep it short, and I won't explain far about it. I do admit to the alt accounts, I do admit to this low point. I know not many have accepted forgiveness, and I know many hate me for this. I apologize for the actions I did throughout that time. I don't know why I chose to do those things anymore, but it is something that is out of line. As for another part of the reasonings, I want to be the only one dragged for it.

Movie Must Be Complete is the big one I know it's violating/challenging in terms of rulesets, as well as its subcategory Games with additional level sets or games. And according to DMs there's other rules it's violating/challenging according to feos (without referring to which ones).

Something has to be checked with that, cause Ending VI was the first ending that was chased after which also killed the input extremely early. I'd say delay, but personally with how this TAS is I don't know if it's going to survive the Judgement or not still. Edit: Basically I'm asking for a Judgement to be made before working on a fix on the file. Just to rewrite to make sense. When the input was made Ending VI was the first one checked, and then it was compared against all the other soonest endings (aka only Ending I) so I have conflicting information with feos apparently.

Maybe that needs a poll too, because for bandwidth reasons I usually watch in 480.
Hmm, but youtube's 480p looks really bad these days! Even 720p is worse than it used to be. And sounds like 480p archive.org stream that still looks like youtube's 1080p is exactly what you need!
Anything lower than 720p is out of the question automatically, due to titles that support 50/60fps, we shouldn't be considering reverting to pre-2015 methods. Secondly, resolution should not be capped to 1080p, nor 1440p for that matter. We should keep to that 4K resolution due to titles that produces colour vomit (see J. J. Squawkers) or PlayStation titles that are both 3D and has dithering (see Crash Warped) implementing. The image can become muddy, and that's not what we're after. This is mainly a matter for best visual presentation that we, the Encoder and Publisher can provide to the audience these days. The audience can watch at whatever best suits them and also the more options we provide, the less time future Encoders need to work on for whatever is considered "outdated" in the future. Also for the sake of noting, YouTube also does, and has reprocessed the videos uploaded to their platform, there's a reason why 720p is no longer marked as "HD". PracticalTAS first marked interest about this on Discord, followed by Masterjun checking one of their 2019 videos.

cherry picked because in general, all bitrates and filesizes went down, but the high and low quality ones only went down to 95-90%, not to a whole 50%

There's no PlayStation emulator that has a "free look" option. Some people just decided to extract the game data instead and view it that way instead.

Why is [1999] Arcade Street Fighter Alpha 3 (USA) "Dramatic Battle, 2 players" in 5:21.44 by error1 rebranched the way it is? The mode already implies that it's using multiplayer since you can't really have a Dramatic Battle by yourself. Should also mention the fact that [939] Genesis Marble Madness (USA) "1 player" in 2:39.44 by SprintGod is not meant to have a branch. The two player mode is a competition mode of "who's the fastest", a sprint mode if you will. This one has already been reverted back to branchless after a quick check with other Staff members.

An updated file with 00:17.68 seconds saved in Ghost Writer due to an error selecting the II door instead of the I as the claw game is significantly slower than the poke the book off.

Going on a whim and say CPU choices matter. fsvgm777 uses an AMD CPU. This is an Intel CPU: Sync confirmed.

What's with 2nd Spyro titles of a console generation and going A to Boss? This is well executed and well made, the author has expressed concerns over high optimization but let's be real. This console generation for TASing is a pain in the butt for high level.

Solo Mode? But there's 2 authors! This in my mind at least matches MP7's Solo Cruise. It's well made, and short and it's enough for me to give it a Yes vote (having watched this ahead of time as well when it was linked to the Discord). Congrats.
