Meh, happened to Vivian and Birdo of Mario fame too. :P
Vivian: (bits edited) "Goombella concludes that she is female during the game's ending." Birdo: No shit! In the manual of SMB2 it even states it! Confused that he is a man and acts like a women.... something like that. Also the fact Birdo guest stared in a game where he has a deep voice and only when excited has a high pitch female type voice.

This movie by the current rules of the Vault this movie seems eligible. But I think it provides a good test case. We want to accept versions of games on other platforms, but how similar is too similar? Is this too similar even for the Vault?
I say a Luigi run would be better not a mario run especially if it's a replica of the snes version. And due to similarities too.

That didn't work. It doesn't seem like it's doing anything to the movie in read/write or read-only mode. EDIT: I can rerecord as long as I don't stop the video. As soon as I stop it, I stop being able to rerecord.
Shift+8 and your loadstate button that will return you to tas. Do not go File>Loadstate, it's basically screwed that way.

In order to do this one level tas (Kinda like Swordless' TAS, only that you finish the level and it's not THAT broken), I need a lua scipt which can use the cheat. The level is "Stormy Ascent" the game is Crash Bandicoot and it's a Link to video. The code is this: (NTSC btw) Header is 0x566B4 (thanks pirohiko for the header!!) D0011DB2 3404 80011DB0 0022 But I have no idea how to make the lua script display this Gameshark cheat. And as mentioned in IRC it's possible to change it into a cheat but the example given didn't help :( (Mothrayas thanks for the help, which didn't help much). Please help.

I don't see the point of having a 120 stars Mario or Luigi run... It would be shorter than a 242 stars, sure, and it would be easier for people who only want to watch the Luigi run, but wouldn't 90% of these runs be the same as the 242 stars Mario & Luigi ?
90% sounds wrong, Luigi has more tricks up his sleeve compared to his brother as Luigi can break the game more than Mario.

Interesting
If you hit the curb you can go higher (Bit captain obvious there). Anyways because this wasn't discussed only things being tossed was Luigi. How about 5 different categories for this game: 120 stars Mario/Luigi, 70 stars Mario/Luigi (any%) and 242 stars Mario & Luigi (200%). Also what would the 120 stars be called if 242 is 200% and 70 stars is straight off any%?
