Overall, very impressive start. A couple things I noticed in Vision 2-2: 1. At about 7:14 in the encode, you throw one red enemy into a 2nd, then grab the yellow shielded one to boost up. Wouldn't it be better to throw the first away, grab the 2nd and then not have to turn around to get the yellow enemy? 2. Do the streams not carry your momentum when you jump off of them? I know they give a HUGE momentum boost in the Wii version when you get off of them if you jump and hold left - your forward speed keeps until you land on solid ground, so long as you're holding left.
Thanks :D Answers: 1. Yeah, I will change that part, I'll check if I have clearance and to pass the first one if not I'll grab it and throw it on the thing the 2nd one is standing on to make it easier. 2. Sadly no, I know what you're talking about since I too have the Wii version but no momentum can be added on the PS1 :(

Does this mean you got past the "This game requires a DualShock Analog Controller" screen in PSXjin, without the game freezing? If so, how? I have the most recent version of it but couldn't get it to go past that screen. (Also yes I have a TASvideos account from a few months ago that I rarely use and I just so happened to check today)
My PAL version of the game didn't freeze when I tested it. I'll check with NTSC and JAP soon and notify you about it.

It doesn't fully work like that. You also need a movie file that would generate said save game. If the 100% TAS was submitted and rejected that TAS can be used to generate a save game. It would then be better to use the TAS to generate the save game which you base your TAS on as well.
Firstly: FUCK Secondly: Okay I'll see what I can do

Now besides the any% of this game, I remember that there was a 100% version but sadly the 100% run of the game was repetitive and cancelled as a result of that. To try and avoid that, hows about for Mario vs Donkey Kong an any% tas and the PLUS mode tas? (so use a save game with 100%, I can provide one just PM me). Since 100%ing is just "demonstrating the same tricks".

We just recently made a leader board! https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AhkCyoaiK2XmdFZsRVZFTlVjUjdiUnJKZURfS0hpYlE#gid=16 There are tabs at the bottom to switch between games but we have Spyro 1-5, Crash 1-5, CTR, and Crash Bash (someone told me to include that game but no one we know who plays it has completed a run of it). Because its rather new its not a complete list (specifically Crash 2 and 3) so if you know of stuff that needs to be added then let us know. Also I beat both of Samura1man's times. I've gotten Any% down to 48:39 and 100% down to 1:21:25.
Sweet I'm going to check that out

Voting No. I liked some parts, BUT the thing that stood out most for me (besides the rerecord count being low) was the entering bonus round and walking into a wall (Countless times). Try again next time EDIT: also everything fsvgm777 wrote

This is an encode of 415M with input display softsubbed onto it (44MB). http://www.mediafire.com/?epwp69ju01blahl The softsub track is set to default on, but could easily be set to default off so that the encode would remain vanilla except for people who wanted the subs on. The input display is not "beautiful" at all. If I develop this further, I'd switch to ASS as it gives you a lot of control over the display that SRT does not. The filesize difference is negligible: 44646KB vs 44544KB without. Is this something people are interested in?
I like the look of it natt, it seriously looks nice and being separated as subtitles.

(Everything from CaneofPacci) We all know about that there are 2 tas runs (excuse me 3, someone didn't put their one to be voted) it's a lot better for 100% than any% Also goodluck trying to beat my friend Samura1man, did you know his WR is now: 00:53:01?

I can't tell if you were going for the fastest time, but I believe I already beat this time in Time Trial, and I didn't even really tried hard for it. Let me check though. I think the World Record is around the low 33-second mark.
33:34 is the PAL WR 33:36 is the NTSC. I already knew it wasn't fast enough, I just wanted to see if I can get a real decent time. Also I know the areas for improvement in the level, yet again I was testing it out. (I hate writing this on a phone -_-) edit: To be exact at the end of the track I just winged it to be honest and when I watched it back I was like, "Oh I could've done this instead".

Request for Tuppenfall: Can you please get rid of the any% in-front of it. I had a little look at Hog Ride (After seeing PeteThePlayer's video of Hog Ride (I think he deleted it :/) and see what I can possibly do to it. Link to video

obviously by the subject title (Hi guys on irc.chat), I have thought of a third type of run this applies mainly to the 100%, "Shoeless 100%". For it to make a little more sense (YES I TRIED TO MAKE IT SOUND MORE ENGLISH-er), you need the running shoes to get some levels done with the platinum relic, but I have been doing some RTA speedrunning and found out all the platinum relics are possible without the running shoes and with the classic method slide-spins and sliding up a slope. any% 100% "Shoeless" 100% - Obviously if you can think of a better title for it write it
