You're a bit late to the party PikachuMan. User has already done these things: - Create 2 Accounts (before submissions) - Split the same TAS between the two accounts - Been warned - Uploading the TAS to their WIP area... and their other one.

Melting encodes look like they're in a specific timeframe. Late 2010 - Early 2011. So it's safe to assume within here that the encodes have been screwed with by YouTube.

I can kinda mention this cause it's kinda true. Sega CD isn't supported as Multi-Disk... for now. There was a hot-addition to it that didn't pan out quite well and had issues.

It is. Pick the corresponding system that requires it (DO THIS FIRST): Apple][, Commodore 64 (C64), GameBoy (This is for Dual Link), PC-FX, PlayStation (PSX), Sega Saturn (SAT) or ZX Spectrum. Now after selecting the system browse and associate the filetype (using PlayStation in this case) that you require to use it (in my case the .cue file) then repeat till you have all the disks covered. Select "Browse" and then save it with the .xml extension it provides then Save and Run. To change disk select the console's you've chosen tab (PSX) and select Disk Controls. Press Open then select the next disk and then press Close. Congrats, you changed disks.

Here's the WIP TAS that was mentioned last time.

No it isn't you're just telling yourself that. If something that's incomplete for however long can still point to improvements that's including works of RTA being faster than TAS which has been a case in the past. Especially when it exists you can put it into the time for researching on what someone else which you yourself just touched on then decided to be dismissive of it on your next sentence(?), especially when it's faster than you in this regard by 94 frames. Then again, according to the forums to the other Submission, this Submission only took a day to make since it's the same file as that post's. Especially when you add on the fact the other took 3 days to make. Unless I have it wrong about the time according to submission's post and the other post, then this Submission was made 3 days and still falls into the boat of "how optimal is it really"?

43 frames shaved off. I'll be back later for comparisons. ----- Edit: Done. I've gone one question. What in the world is going on in your Stage 1 again?

I'm in a state of two minds here. The first is "YES A SPEEDY GOLF TAS" Whilst the other is "But... but I like lowest score runs more (-22 for this game)." Low score or Fastest time it is still entertaining but I don't have the feeling to vote Yes to this. So I'll have to abstain my vote. Then again others are comfortable in voting Yes so I don't think you'll have an issue with one missing vote.

I like how you ignored a point again just like you've done at EarthBound.

The WIP isn't the only thing that you should be looking at, there's also the published movie with hidden improvements over this submission (and that WIP).

Unfortunately even with your 136 frame advantage over the current and WIP TAS brought up by Challenger you're beat on Scene 1 even with that advantage by the other TASes. As for the Second Scene. Syncing the movies up for Scene 2 Dasrik is ahead of you by 57 frames. The Third Scene, xipo's input is ahead by 15 frames to yours. So even Dasrik's input has issues. This is a well made newcomer TAS. Just with stuff that exists already it's been beaten in the three scenes I've checked from quick observations.

That's 10762 frames for those at home. You can always upload your file to the userfiles and ask a judge to replace it for you. I assume it's going to be trimmed down to this so here's a fix: User movie #51681848481053304 If it's wrong just upload it to userfile and a judge will fix your movie. --- This drops the movie to a 30:17.64 (109238 frames) which is faster than the current publication by 614 frames.

About Ecco (original) yeah... I believe if I wasn't mistaken there's actually TASOnly methods in that game that arandomgameTASer swam into.

Is this movie faster than my old WIP? http://tasvideos.org/userfiles/info/18951804747011284
For the first 3520 frames (between submission and userfile) yes, you're faster. But somewhere after it you're slower, but then again you land on desync due to it being an update to your work. I'm displeased that this TAS isn't started from the ground up especially when you did comparisons of your own and well you did it wrong? You compared the frame 3450 with biggyboy's, MESHUGGAH and your own but let's switch out biggyboy's input with the submission's input since it shows: (Left is this movie. Right is MESHUGGAH's movie.) Whilst what you posted on Discord about your own input which did this: I had to be sure I was comparing this submission and not the current publication when I saw your progress being further than what's represented here. Here's a dirty comparison video between this and MESH's for the first 3619 frames. --- Edit: This TAS is just red flags to me with stuff that's present around the submission. Sure the game is insanely hard to optimize but isn't that the beauty of this game to take time on it especially for it being 3 minutes? I'm abstaining my vote since I honestly don't know how to feel on having something that's set out like this.

Title is a bit off for summarisation. It's not "shutting down" it's being "revised" or "replaced by more relaxed guidelines". You can have more of a read about it thanks to the version that Nintendo Japan (aka HQ) wrote about it. Seeing as you wrote what Nintendo America wrote whilst providing Japan's.

Oh no big names, ooooooh scary. I'm sorry that you don't understand that I'm quoting Site Rules and believe that I'm using the word "lazy" whilst quoting it (with a direct link mind ya), when I'm really more or less "not impressed" as I've stated at the beginning. "My eyes" are apparently not that of the Rules that the Site provides in the first place, which apparently you have some questionable "arguments" about it. As for the rushed comment, I'm allowed to criticize this TAS for being rushed when A, there's evidence that suggests that is and B, this is an RPG game where there's a lot of randomness. As a Note: I've stalled the previous movie for a month (after going through with it by a Senior Publisher) for a just in-case an improvement comes along due to issues. And now we're here 2 months later (from submission) with the same and new issues as the previous.

I'm just letting you know you're competing against this one: [1035] SNES Super Mario All-Stars: Super Mario Bros. 3 "playaround" by Genisto in 1:06:46.28 Which isn't 100% at all, but it's what you'll be up against. Also again like one of your other submissions, hijacked the submission text to add the encode you have on your account.

Same issue as the last submission, you could've gone into the next section a frame sooner. Didn't bother checking if it landed into desyncs.

Please use TAStudio to clean your input. And DrD2k9's third point about if this game continues on loop. It does have a harder difficulty to top it.

Yeah, I really suggest doing a good amount of revision before going at another submission again: The first two sections seem fine, besides the fail to advance to the next section sooner which screws with RNG on the following. And the last two sections require a revision as viewable by the gif (and the questionable jump I touched on).

I'm going to assume you're going to have an encode of this on your YouTube channel in a bit (he's shown his account on Discord). Here's a Light Spike of 1070 frames. There's probably more that can be shaved off, but I'm not diving into this game... yet. Edit: Nevermind improved it by another 125 frames by jumping at the end. So doubts on this TAS. --- And I was right to call doubts. Using your input I was able to go from Deadly Forest to Reptile River sooner than what you've produced and landing straight into desync. Boulder Field appears that you should be gunning it at all times. I also question that one random jump. Cannibal Camp appears to be improvable as well with better execution. By the way don't hold the B button down it does nothing for this game.

2 issues with Mappy in your 3D emulator. 1) It's unnecessarily bright for some reason making it feel bleached. 2) Goro should be behind the Radio not in-front of it. Nitpick: The text displaying 1000 is illegible, possibly due to the brightness of the video or the angle of the 3D effect.
