Because the people that were able to run it were one of the developers of Dolphin (RachelB) and a person who encodes Dolphin for a living (RGamma). In Prime's case, it went to Fog who is a developer of Dolphin and an Encoder who also has a lot of knowledge, and Samsara, who has been able to sync a handful of Dolphin TASes. If you look at Perfect Dark's case, it was pretty much checked by everyone, but no one has been able to sync it through its entirety. If anyone is able to get Prime to sync (and dump) without requiring states, then this TAS would change from Reject to being Accepted on TASVideos, the same goes for Perfect Dark. This is why Samsara brought up Perfect Dark in the judging decision.

Yes, and not be this thing that exists (and which was almost submitted).

I'm thinking the FASTEST way would be to manipulate all the AIs to jump off the stage right as it starts but is that even possible?
Okay, the AI is stupid at points, but not that stupid. When it comes to the polar stages they're set to stay on and to kill. When you do either 1 player or 2 player the goal is to get all the AI to you (for 2 player, it's to one of the two characters) and then you knock them out in succession. In 1 player, it's possible to get an AI to bump another one off into the water. That is possible. But it's not possible to manipulate them to kill themselves. That's not part of their code, as it's very, very restricted in that way to not make those mistakes.

Like myself (2 player), mozkf (1 player) and TheRedhotbr (1 player) did? How's 1 player progressing for you anyways?

I mean. Yes vote, 'cause entertaining. But, I'm disappointed that this wasn't an "all cups" TAS and only focuses on completing a single one.

#2999: Wyster & nfq's N64 Perfect Dark in 41:44.40 is the most relevant TAS. You can vote this on your entertainment (or in Perfect Dark's case if it should be Published). Both TASes have a very high Yes Votes on the both of them If this TAS does indeed fail to sync it will be set to delay followed by it being cancellation it is what it is. It shouldn't stop you on what you thought was entertaining about the TAS.

Saw it when it was first up on twitch, it was long. Yet for me it was entertaining. I'll give this a yes vote. I'll be grabbing Soul Blazer for Publication, and a nice couple of nights with subtitles.

Holly Molly this was Enjoyable as all hell you screen switching sonofagun. Moth would most likely have the YouTube encode ready when it's going to be accepted, I got the downloadables all done and good (the difference between a YouTube encode and Downloadable is great), so I can take this for publication.

Yes. Watched this whilst it was in the forums. Entertaining as all hell. Claiming this one for publication, when it gets accepted!

So what do you think: should I just submit the TAS without subtitles, or is it OK if I submit a bk2 movie with subtitles, even if those subtitles won't scale when changing the size of the BizHawk window?
We publishers deal with the subtitles in the end and make it actually work with the video. As technically the subtitles are meant to be displayed in the x1 resolution on BizHawk and what you're aiming for to be watchable on x2/x3. You can see here on what it would look on BizHawk vs how it would be managed at publication. Edit: Forgot, to mention. This varies depending on the publisher. As well as Make sure you explain with a single sentence. It becomes a bit problematic if you do multiple sentences during the same time frame.

The Censorship of Tokyo Ghoul TV vs BD (Spoilers Duh): http://imgur.com/a/tvt2r http://imgur.com/a/3TE2T http://imgur.com/a/LwwuP http://imgur.com/a/1TchP Tokyo Ghoul √A Episodes 5 & 6: http://imgur.com/a/D2VRz The important part about Episode 5 is the event that occurred before airing... I won't discuss about this event. Knives were heavily censored, and only 2 animes were affected which had knives. Tokyo Ghoul √A (Additional Censorship) and Assassination Classroom (chose to delay). It's fairly apparent on which censoring was done this way as it's very inconsistent. Also, never forget the first 3 episodes of Terra Formars: http://kotaku.com/as-far-as-anime-censorship-goes-this-is-pretty-ridicul-1645599166 There's also the Nippleless on Monster Musume no Iru Nichijou (Everyday Life with Monster Girls) which saw the life of nipples on release. Nippleless, Assbeams, Panty-aww, Full Fog Machine Roaring, of Prison School which was all uncensored on release. I mean it could've been worse. You could be paying Funimation for some of the high stuff and you see "DxD" on some ass and tits, or extra fog on the Valkyrie Drive. Where it was uncensored on the TV broadcast. Let's also not forget the time where Funimation literally stream a version which censored fog in Machine-Doll wa Kizutsukanai (Unbreakable Machine-Doll). So, Berserk will get that R rating. As there's also some scenes that were darker fade suggesting/showing that more was censored out.

One request that I have that I wish for. This is mainly for the forums, but I wish for a dark theme. I wish for it as it would be a nice feature for those that use the forums at night and the only strong source of light would be coming from their monitors. The only downside that I can see from this is from the bright users, who try and hide their text, with the border from behind, and the dark theme users could see it.

Can I also ask what program you used to edit the .fbm file? The best I could find was TAS Editor but that doesn't seem to be able to open .fbm files. Thanks Samsara.
There's 3 ways: Modify TAS Movie Editor to support fbm (I attempted this, but I was unsuccessful) Hex Edit: See Here (We attempted this method, didn't work) And the final method. If you noticed the rerecord count it went up to what it originally was. The method which was used was to load up the emulator and do it manually by loading the state on last frame of input.

Seems to have been an archive issue, as I did see it go through and was able to enter the page initially. The files that were uploaded are still on the archive servers... However right now I'm getting a white screen error with the upload. I still have the files, I'll retry everything the next day if it is indeed an archive issue (Even though other publications didn't get hit by this issue). Edit: Archive links should be working now.

Did you have something to contribute to the conversation, or are you just going to attack me and try to sabotage the conversation with your not-so-veiled passive-aggressive attitude? If you don't like me, that's fine. I don't mind. I have a thick skin; I can take it. But keep it to yourself. If you want to throw your vitriol towards me, send me a PM; keep it out of the public forums.
I'm sorry Warp, but you're ignoring Invariel's points and claiming that he isn't contributing, and he's instead attacking and sabotaging you. Are you trying to fool us? You have the nerve to tell someone who has put more into the conversation than you, a user who has been posting more information than a loopy one like you. That's disgusting. Are you going to decide to be selective on what points are being brought to the table again? Post reasonably, respond to his posts, or really, is it because you don't have anything to contribute to the conversation?

This thread and the other, are both stupid. This is a Movie File It starts with all the information required, it also holds the subtitles and then follows it up with the actual input.: This is also a Movie File which contains the contents of the notes, the game information, bios, author, re-record count, Subtitles and how it has been set up in order for it to sync (which is primarily important for n64 TASes) as well as the input: How do you call something with great information stored inside it with more things than what would just be "input" and call it something that doesn't even scratch the surface of what is inside it?

The Pacifist TAS is faster... [1926] NES Contra (Japan) "pacifist" by Soig & zyr2288 in 09:29.08 I would refer to the one player run that's obsoleted which is also faster... but that was done on Famtasia... so I'm ignoring it.

14854 frames of blank input... probably more can be shaved off, I'm not going to check how many more frames can be shaved off as your slower than the fastest by a large margin. So that drops your frame count down to 43994 which is 12:12.03. So in perspective you're slower than the oldest one (11:05.7).
