Making this would be extremely challenging and exausting(for me anyway). I tried it before, but couldn't get it right.

This looks very optimized over the last version. Very nice dieing effects after mission 1 boss. I liked that :). I like how you died to stop the slow screen scrolling :). (i think thats what you did). Looks nice Phil. Great job. Got to vote yes.

Megaman1 - No glitch - 25:00 - Ive gotten 25:48 with 1 death and mistakes. Battletoads in Battlemaniacs - 1 player rash - my time is 21:29. 20:30 is possible.

I know it does sound like a bummer. But i think the No warps run is good enough for the site.

Iriasu: I don't own the game, but your times could be beaten for the Rockman1 Boss challenge or what ever its called. I do those bosses faster. 1'20"00 or less is possible.

I feel its neccesary to post this here. I did have planned to do a 100% SMB3 run. But after watching this video, it seems that my movie would be really repititive of JXQ's movie. The only difference would be alot of auto-scrollers, and a couple new levels and powers here and there. Plus my movie would be longer, thus probably not as entertaining. So i decided to not do the run, as i feel this run is good enough for the game without the flute.

This may be a bit late. but the 101% run imo should be entertaining/finish all bonuses/not just die. Should be creative to keep the viewer in so that you never lose them. The last one i got quite bored always seeeing dieing.

rope bridge rumble - oil drum alley - elivator antics. Those were the most noticeable improvements (from my memory of older run). Alot of repitition from the last movie though. But since this is Fast as possible im not going to be cruel, (like i will be when the 101% comes out). Voting yes. Question: how did you avoid crawling through those small areas?

I will watch this later. Nice time. Watching the old run, it seems hard to improve. I seen some techneques i thought could be better.

But the ride is so long. It loses its potential.

I would say give the star back to Rockman1. No offence to Bax1er, but i found Rockman1 to be alot more entertaining. Its shorter, and has the viewer saying "WTF did he just do! He cant do that! Thats impossible!". Then they watch the Megaman5 and say "I cant believe the Luck! Such good optimizations! I have to try that!". I think Rockman deserves a star IMO.

To my knowledge, SDA usually goes by Seconds. Encoding a second movie for the same amount of time, hardly anyone will notice. But they should at least give you credit in the authors submission of the vurrent movie.

I can do it very often in a speedrun. Its almost like the same timeing everytime works. Usually i skip two really fast, wait a bit, and skip the third.

Well. I seen no Major mistakes watching at 100%. Everything looked clean, smooth, and really nice luck manipulation. I can't really comment alot because my knowledge for this game is low. I liked the "Through the floor" techs used very well. The chargeman train-Gate glitch worked exactly like it was suppose to :). Huge Improvement. Got to vote yes.

Me and FODA are wondering if this is a known feature of FCEU. When you finish a FCM movie. go to "File" - "Savesate as". Save as Moviedone.fc1 . Then, Load up the game again. Record from Power-on or reset which ever, and load the savestate. Stop movie recording. and there you have the savestate containing your movie. This is how i keep Backup copys of all my movies.

Pros: -;- Every shot hit was impressive -;- The music is awesome -;- Very nicely played -;- Very impressive score and time. Cons: -;-It was quite repetitive -;- I really wanted to fast forward through the whole thing early -;- You do not do any impressive stunts(like bullet dodgeing) -;- It is a really long game -;- You do not use all shot powerups, it would have been nice to use them all and different points and let every bullet hit something. All in all, I think there needs to be alot of changed in the entertaining department, instead of just score/speed. You want speed/entertainment. Sorry, but, hopefully you do this over with more entertainment(if possible). I have to vote NO on this. Nice try.

Ok well. I wake up in the morning at 7:30 AM on weekdays for school. I then go for 3 hours and come back to my house for a meal. Then at 12:20 PM i'm back to school for 2 hours. Then i come home, and i usually play Maple Story/TAS/Megaman1/Megaman2, and listen to eurodance music. After i eat my third meal, i usually watch TV and chat on IRC, and sometimes tas.
