For some reason my download speed from archive.org is 3–4 times less than from european servers. It’s actually not a website’s problem, it’s a problem of international link between Russia and USA, I think…

I don’t want to insult you, but I’ve just tried to play a random level and easilly improved it by 7 seconds (yep, not frames, but seconds), using the same route. I don’t want to say that my run is optimal (well, it is my second TAS with Knuckles ever — the first one was this), I only want to give an example of how improveable your run is (maybe excepting Aglar’s and Felipe’s parts which definitely look much better).
If it’s a „just for fun” project then it’s okay.
But if you are going to submit it, I doubt it will be accepted. Remember Felipe’s amazing „perfect bonus” run?

Btw, how do you think, is it possible to make a ringless run with Amy, or there are some places she cannot pass without taking rings?

Brilliant work, guys. Despite not deep optimization (especially visible in HTZ), this run gives much more entertainment than heavilly optimized speedruns.
For even more entertainment, I may suggest to abuse boss glitch in ARZ. It looks weird and also saves a few frames.
If you hit Eggman at certain frame, he leaves bypassing exploding animation, and the animals in the capsule look completely broken :)

Crashing Sonic the Hedgehog Megamix is possible in less than 1 second on counter. All what you need is simply to start any level with Knuckles and make a spin dash too early.

I beleive it’s not a good idea to make direct uncompressed dumps in high resolution. A few minutes of such a video may have size of like a few terabytes… Way better to make HD on encoding stage.

Nothing else but experimenting with Amy@S3K revision 1.3 again. I was going to improve Angel Island by 29 frames (they all come from Amy’s crazy skills in spindashing), but suddenly noticed that the height of Amy’s jump decreased since the revision 1.0. So I went Knuckles way. I was bored to optimize the mini boss battle, so I guess I made it a few frames slower than possible.
0:40.39 — not bad anyway :)
