It is optimal ^^ It beats the current all dungeon TAS by like 50 seconds (first 3 years).

I mean, I take the 3 first years of THIS TAS. So any% and all dungeons will have the same first half :3

Please note that some of this text, mostly the game description, is copy pasted from the precedent publication. Sorry if it feels rushed, it's because I put a lot of time doing these comments, and not many things changed from run to run (except the dungeon per dungeon details, wich I edited accordingly). If there's any problem, just tell me :) Also, I was wondering, is it ok if half of the run is reused for the all dungeons category? First 3 years are exactly the same, so... Anyway, encode coming soon :)

I'm late, but what I learned about TASvideos.com, is that here, the community/judges want quality. Work in progress or not, if something is too suboptimal or bad quality (this is judged by the judges) then it will be rejected. It's just the way the site works. The rule is there as a guideline, and I think it's good to have guidelines of quality. I actually WANT my movie to get rejected if someone is doing better or if I can (easily) get it better ^^ And the autor can still publish it on Youtube or user files even if it's rejected ;)

Hello again :) The TAS is going well. Finished 3 years. Those 3 years are the same for all dungeons and any%, and it saves like 55 seconds compared to the published TAS. I'll continue on for the any%. Here's the 3 first years completed: Link to video Link to video Link to video

Hello everyone :) I came back from a little pause of TAS to route an any% run with the Yuke. But I discovered something: consumable effects last after loading zones in the japanese version. For this reason, japanese version is a little faster than english version. So I kinda need your help. I have to manipulate a lot of the artifacts I find in the dungeons, but I can't recognise them when they are written in japanese. I would need to know the translation of the artifacts, could someone help me on that? It's not a big time difference, but I would like to go as fast as possible for any%. Thank you :) EDIT: I also need translations of the bonus points conditions

English is "better" because it's an internationnal language. French people know english, german people know english, japanese people know english, etc. It's the second langage of all around the most people in the world who is bilingual. I'm french, and I can understand english, but I can't understand Japanese. Japanese is not as common as a second langage for many people. Well that's just my view on it. That's why I didn't do my own TAS in French. Could have, but wanted bigger audience.

I love glitchy games as far as I'm concerned, but I prefer having a clear understanding of everything that happens, even if it's glitchy. This is a high quality run, but I have to vote meh for entertainment. Good job tho :)

Rushed or no, isn't this run the best completed run? Accepting this run is not really a problem, it'll simply stay until a better TAS shows up ^^ I mean, it is entertaining... Even if I prefer english :3 EDIT:

Link to video Here is my latest All Dungeons TAS. I'M pretty proud of it, so I'll jump to any% :) For the any%, I want to test the full potential of physical attacks. Still needing to time attacks, I take the selkie class to have short and strong focus attacks. Also, I'll need to buy equipment. I'll create 2 characters, one merchant, and the selkie is a blacksmith. I think physical attacks are stronger against cycle 2 monsters, and since we skip the Lich and the Dragon Zombie, magic has way less use in this run ;)

I'm really sorry if I made assumptions. I'm clumsy when I talk. I just want to say that yes, you can argue that what is made by humans is better than what is made by robots. But remember who created robots: humans. And it takes creativity to create them too ^^ Sorry again, I'm bad at wording.

Who created the automatic process? God. God created this TAS :P PS: At this point I'm joking, just so you know :3

Why should we judge a movie based on how the autors work? Nobody can claim they are better because they are using a bot, or not using one. What is more important is the result, no? I mean, who cares what kind of person the autor is, how many hours and how many rerecords he has, how much he is good at using robots or how much he is creative? Why is this even a discussion? Let's judge the movie, not the story behind it :P I understand there is some legitimate tensions, fear of rejection, fear to lost works that you cherish. You are not rivals, this is not the Olympics :P What you have done, you can be proud of it. All of you. You all did an amazing work, an amazing run. And somehow, you 2 did finish first place ^^ Like in boxing, I think you should simply let the judges decide wich run should be published. Maybe it will be the two of them, who knows. For now, we are not here to vote if it should be accepted or not, but either if it's entertaining. The final decision is for the judge anyway. Whatever happens. Acceptation, rejection. It doesn't destroy your work. Happy Lee, I think the best thing to do is to submit your run. Then it will be easier to compare :)

Could we accept the two of them, and them simply obsoleting the less entertaining? (after a vote). This way, the 2 of them are available on the site :)

My honest opinion is, even if I'm not really knowledgeable about everything, I think we have to admit the autor used an accepted set of rules in the RTA community, so I don't think he did BAD :3 Even if I could find myself a bit divised on the glitch argument, I found the movie really fun to watch :) So for that thing alone, I'm voting yes :)

I'm very sorry to say this, but after some days of thinking, I managed to elaborate a new route that as the potential to beat this TAS. So maybe, to save you some work, we should cancel this run. I'm very sorry. This game has too much ways to complete it with some seconds difference.

To be honest, I woudn't mind if it gets rejected. I would simply want to do a nice multiplayer demonstration, accepted or not ^^

Hello everyone. I was passing there because I'm TASing Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles on Gamecube, and something I always wanted was the possibility to TAS multiplayer. The problem I have is that the game does not allow multiplayer unless it detects gameboy advances connected. I know it might be a stupid idea, but could we fake a gameboy advance into Dolphin? The only thing I would need is the imputs, I don't even need to see a gameboy advance screen. The Wind Waker TAS has something similar with tingle tuner, where it connects something that fakes the gameboy advance and can do imputs. I'm pretty sure almost the exact same thing would work for FFCC. Does someone has an idea about that? Or can there be a tool added to enter TAS imputs from "fake" gameboy advances implemented? Thank you for your answers :)

Trust me I tried xD It might not be visible, but I ALREADY skip ALL the random possible encounters in the overworld. The cinematics I get are unskippable and occur at specific times. Even in any%, I only skip 1 other cinematic, and the reason is I do 1 less dungeon. Yes, even any% needs to do a specific amount of dungeons to even get access to the unknown element and revive the plants to pass the river on year 5. The only way I see to skip a LOT of the game would be being able to pass the miasma streams without the good element, but for now, I wasn't able to do it :'(
