Thanks for the swift reply. :) I support the complete 100% run. The slow map emulation isn't going to be around forever... with any luck, it'll be up to snuff soon.

Forgive the possibly silly question: Why only get one coin in 1-Tower?

I made some TAS combos, and I want to know what people think of them http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0loTqbq2ZS4&feature=channel_page http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y2XiMu1hQew&feature=channel_page http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nJhtB6zMvRY&feature=channel_page thanks in advance
The second one, with Fox, Kirby, and Pikachu, was by far the best, because of the sheer amount of "lots of stuff happening at once." The other two are impressive damage-wise, but there are multiple delays where one character holds the victim while the others set up for something else. This isn't as fun as rapid hits from multiple angles! Nice work, though. :)

I found out a new way to pass platforms faster: If the fall-through-platform glitch doesn't work, press L or R (shield) to gain foothold faster. The frames in which Kirby lands on a platform are not relevant if you want to duck to go through the platform, but the frames in which you actually stand on a platform are. It saves 5 frames per application.
Hahaha--seeing as how HAL Laboratories worked on the Smash Bros. series of games, could this technically be a forerunner to "L cancelling?" :D

This was incredible to watch. As a long-time Lemmings fan, many of the decisions you made were both amazing and humorous. :) I laughed out loud multiple times during the movie--from a simple scoff to a shocked chuckle. Awesome stuff!

There are also occasional rooms where Apollo can receive free 20E*, and those rooms can be used twice before they disappear. Maybe the "Hit the ghost with your head" rooms can be utilized? I recall the rewards being as high as 70E*?

Ferret: My favorite quote on that topic is when the young woman says "The Boss's weakpoint is its eye!" and then you reach the boss and it's basically a giant eyeball with a couple of tentacles. Thanks, lady! That was worth all my E*! :P

If someone does do this, keep in mind that you can hold up while jumping to gain a lot of height. :) This game is a lot of fun but rather challenging. The Information is never worth purchasing, and most of the upgrades will be pointless for a TAS. If you purchase the same weapon from a store twice (leave and re-enter) you will get the upgrade for that weapon. :)

Hmmm....
Does "max score," in this case, consist of the score display reading all 9s? :\

Why not start by giving feedback to what's already in the WIP, if you know you've had success being faster? :)

That's got to be an emulation error of some sort...

Why didn't you double-team the last guy at 1:30? It looks like you lost time there, and a few other places. I like the coordinated effort, though! Doesn't have to be symmetrical, so long as it's FAST.

That's only 28 P-Wings, though... if you used one before every level (not counting toad houses), you'd run out before you finished World 3. :P

Speaking from an entertainment perspective, the 200k run spends too much time hovering in place. Half of what makes Balloon Trip so difficult is the clumsiness of the movement. A TAS would have to show off some crazy maneuverability--a lot more sideways movement--in order to be impressive. The current run looks like it's being played rather conservatively, which is the last thing anyone wants to see in a TAS. I think you should go for it, personally--but make it look risky and ballsy. Dive into clusters of stars that any normal, conservative player would gasp at. :)

If the levels are the same as the PC version, I'd recommend Shadow, Circus, Outdoor, and Cave as early contenders, as their levels are (typically) smaller and faster. For some reason, I recall the Egyptian, Space, and Highland levels being the most difficult / annoying. Most of the Sports levels are large, but easy--the kicker is the final level of the Sports tribe, which asked for some deadeye accuracy with the Archer tool under some strict time limits. Of course, on the PC version, clicking "Play" at the title screen brought you straight to the Beach tribe--what happens after you complete that default tribe? Are you returned to the title screen, or does clicking "Play" continue to shuffle you through the tribes in some designated order? I'm really looking forward to this run--Lemmings 2 is one of my favorite games!

With two players, it's possible to "split" one tank into two, if both players hop into it at the same time... might it be possible to share powerups, too?

Does the AI character who boosts ahead (in this case, Wario) change depending on who the player controlled character is? I really enjoy reading the discussion of these secrets and statistics. :) Thanks for making them public, when you can.

Don't you basically re-trace Sabin's scenario from the river back to Narshe, on foot, after you get the Airship? (It is very long, I just want to confirm this is how to do it.)

The fastest place I can think of is on Death Mountain, shortly after a save point, there's a screen where the party enters from the top right, and has to snake down a snowy screen to head bottom left, and there are a handfull of Krakker enemies who fall from the top of the screen to the bottom. If you tag the fourth one (I think?) you engage five of them in a fight--dispatch them for a good fast chunk of experience, exit back the way you came (upper right) and re-enter for a pretty swift treadmill. But that is pretty late game, and will likely never come up in a TAS. :\

Can we at least make a provision for obtaining the Anchor? It's such a rare (yet worthless) item, I think its presence in the run would truly make for 100%.

What air maneuver was being abused with the Wing skill, and how so? It looked like the start of the Down+Y loop-de-loop, but cancelled? :) Edit: Gah, that's exactly what it is/was, explained on Page3. Sorry guys. Great lookin' video--my jaw dropped at using the snowman helper to glitch into the wall in level 2!
