I would like to click on the Facebook "hide" button for the last few posts between Samsara and True. The discussion was healthy as a tribute to RachelB and how to avoid our relatives to end up the same, please not break this with some Dragon Ball Z level talks. Cool, a not-so-broken kingdom, a welcome addition between all those kingdoms you used to destroy :) The boss match is nice with you finishing it with the fruits, but wouldn't it be faster to avoid the boss's 2nd form? You already did that once so that's an acceptable speed/entertainment trade-off if that is faster, if it isn't then forget it.

Voted no because you didn't made the dynamite explode at the same time a bullet hits it and a Dalton brother get the hit. For shame. Seriously, that was way more entertaining than the previous movie! My favorite levels were the autoscrollers, they have that cool song and Lucky Luke really acts like he doesn't care about what's going on around here.

Feel free to post any resource you think could be relevant to this game's TAS :) It happens sometimes that a game is easier in US version. About Japanese glitches, it might be worth looking what is on NicoNico. Other than that, you don't need to focus on a particular language version right now, figuring out how the RNG works will take you some time (what are exactly the best answers, how do they affect the RNG, how do the RNG work in the first place, etc).

What, less than 10 hours in segmented? :o Now that you say it, I remember a friend 2HKOing the last battle against Malpercio by pure chance, using Lyude, Savyna, Sunrise/the opposite, and one of the items that change at every fight. Looking at the commentary on the segmented speedrun, looks like there are indeed some nice improvments available. Good luck!

Are you sure you need to bring Globox to the end of the level everytime it appears? Maybe they just programmed to detect Rayman arriving at the end of the level because they suppose that you would need to complete the whole Globox path in order for Rayman to arrive at the end. I have never played the game, so maybe I'm saying something wrong.

Explanation of the Layer System is useful to understand the pastebin. I found another video with the Early Master Sword & the Early Triforce, which collects all Triforce pieces and triggers the Mighty Darknuts encounter (getTriforcePiecesCount() == 8) but the game is still locked after that. It seems like you have to trigger Hyrule 1 and take the master sword the legit way.

If you shoot just to empty your ammo before the boss, why not, but if it doesn't offer any purpose, we as viewers won't understand why: are there enemies out of screen or not yet loaded that will be killed before we even see them? Why a superhuman capability would miss shots without it being a clear entertainment? Do as you wish, but if you want to fire shots for no reason, do it with an entertaining way.

Yoshi Skip If Mario could clear the gap by the Chapter 4 pipe without Yoshi, Chapter 3 would be completely skipped after Grubba. Yoshi re-joins the party after Doopliss 2, so it’s not like the lack of speed boost from riding Yoshi costs time.
You could skip Yoshi if you have the Chapter 6's Ultra Boots and do the same jump as at 3:20:40. Can you get the Ultra Hammer, open the access to Chapter 6, get the boots, and then go back to chapter 4?

Sonic was peacefully living his own life, running fast in the whole world. When he finally reached a town, he learnt that Rayman, Mario, and even an ugly dinosaur were going faster than him to complete games. He then went from surprises to surprises: Tails and Eggman were on a Mecha Contest with the finals being on the moon, and his pal added a pro killer feature allowing his Mecha to walk through walls. Knuckles, jealous, pretended he could do it without robots just with a slice of the Master Emerald, so Rouge just defied him to do so and broke the Master Emerald, collecting a few slices to ensure Knuckles won't try with a complete Master Emerald. To top it all off, a new hedgehog tries to steal Sonic's popularity. Sonic had no choice… Gotta go fast!
