You should read the FAQ that you can find at the top of the page. Here's the translation. Speedrun 100 piece of Super Mario 64 with Rerecord and Frame advance. This speed run had been donen with a controler for PC. I used a lot of Big Long Jump to gain maximum speed. It tooks me more than an hour to make this speedrun. This video was difficult to make and I had to put time and rerecord. 100 piece done on the original version (Japanese one). I made the video using Mupen modified for TASVideos. So this is my first speed run. Good viewing. For more information, I use Microsoft Windows XP French and I didn't use frame advance that much but a lot of rerecord. I didn't use any bug but I use shortcut of speedrunner to gain some times and the big long jump is useful in Mario 64 L'utilisation de virgule et de point serait très apprécié. The use of comma and period would be greatly appreciated.

Hey, is it possible to change the email and the send of the notification ? Something like TASVideos@TASVideos.org would be better than adelikat@tasvideos.org The sender should be TASVideos instead of adelikat.

The reason is not the specs, most of the console that sells well have a lower price. With a lower price, the console sells more, and more game are developed for it and it's a running cycle.

The RNG changes when a menu is open, which makes the manipulation pretty hard and very lenghty because you something have to way a lots of frame to accomplish what you want. I think there's a couple of WIP that you can download and see how it's done. What's the difference between U and J ? I know that J can open chest, and that I think you can lower magic damage with a trick. But other than that, is there any difference ? You should do a WIP of the first battle and see that you think about it. It will probably be a very very very hard game to TAS. Anyway, Good luck, and I hope to see a WIP of this soon :P

Well Shining Force 3 seems nice :P But I have to agree that the other Shining Series are pretty bad. The new one on DS seems to be a good one.

Assuming you own a Sega Saturn, you can either record it with a VCR or with a DVD Recorder. With a DVD it's easier to put it on your computer.

Hum isn't the choice just changed with Upper Case letter ? Because it was something like TasVideosAgent. I prefer with the s but I called for TASVideoAgent, because the other one was not UpperCase.

Sorry, I don't have much time these days. I didn't have internet, and I can't work this weekend. Dromiceius, you should try to modify PCSX because I don't think I'll be able to do it soon.

This makes no sense. I have 4 gigs of ram and dual core 2.xish ghz processor for my laptop, and it still runs at 40% most of the time.
I don't remember when you bought your computer if you had bought a Graphic Card with it. It might be because it has to use software processing instead of Hardware processing. You have no video card if you have something like Intel Integrated Graphic.

I don't have a lot of time on my hand. But I will try if I can find the time, to take a look at this. If the function DoFrameAdvance, DoSendKey, SaveState, LoadState are done (I could probably modify some code to make them work) then I could made some automatic function to bruteforce the combat. And I don't want to create much hope with this, because I have very little time (and very little motivation). But I'd like to give back to this community. Anyway I'll see by the weekend if I can make something out of this. In the meanwhile, if someone can point me out what I would need to edit the Source Code. Which IDE or compiler should I use for this ? I'd prefer tools on Windows 7, but I can use Ubuntu if it's only available on Ubuntu (I really prefer Windows 7, the setup is better for programming).

Oh ? Well I'm a coder ! And I know C (sort of) ! But I wouldn't call myself competent with C and with emulator in general. :/

does PCSX support lua ? If not it might be a good idea to try to implement that. It would be easier to make some custom scripts.

I didn't read the whole thread, just an idea, but instead of google adsense, shouldn't we try to have more specialized ads ? like consoleSource, gamersection, and any other website that would give us more for an Ads on a gaming site and forums ? It would be easier to find like 100$ per month that way. And you couldn't have a more targeted viewer than a website about video game.

I don't know how much it could cost, but wouldn't it be possible to host this on a virtual private server ? How much would it cost, and could this be driven by the community. I know it's asking for donation, but maybe it would be possible to generate enought donation to hold the website alive without the problem of splitting the server across three diferent server.

It could be nice if the error was more explicit.
