You don't like 3d game, or those game with advance graphics ? Because I like game like Final fantasy tactics or chocobo dungeon, but I dislike game like Oblivion. I don't like ultra realistic graphic game, it just seams to me that the story or game play is affected with such graphic.

You can complete the game in less than 14 secondes, but I think it would be classified as cheating.

http://img262.imageshack.us/img262/5900/bhardnb8.jpg I don't have any image editor for this, so the quality is blurry a little, but with some alpha on the text, and a better quality, I don't think it will be obstructing something. What about some TV channels that put their logo in watermark once in a while ? You don't have to show it ofter and not for long, but once in a while, and with some alpha in it. That would make people encode their video, but not much of them would do it.

Well you can alway put two little watermark almost invisible on top left and bottom right, if they crop the video, there will be some information missing.

Would an almost invisible watermark with TAS on the bottom of the screen, only a couple of pixel would cause that much problem for the viewer ? I think that what would be the best, if that people that want a watermark, try to encode a sample video with a couple of different watermark to see if it's that obtrusive. It would be better to actually see an example before judging

yeah, but by that, I don't think you have direct access to memory. So that would be impossible, unless you modify the dashboard, but even then, I don't think it's possible either.

Wouldn't in be possible to put a little black line at the bottom of the movie file with the information, like a couple of pixel ? or to keep proportion, having a line at bottom and at right ? I know it's not a perfect fullscreen, but it could be something like that, with the author's name and the link to the site. Maybe some TASer would like to add some information about some part of the movie, like subtitle in DVD ?

There are rules on why it is not accepted, but I think it should be on the viewer to accept or not an hacked game.

I know it's hard to maintain and it's a lot of work, but isn't it possible to encode a high quality version and a low quality ? If the file size really differ, I think it would be a good thing, like SDA which have a couple of encoded movie, some of which are high quality, other low quality.

Well sorry, I didn't read for google (google and yahoo ads look the same) But does yahoo offert the same service, like per per print ? If yahoo is the competitor of google, I don't know why they wouln't implements a add like that. Also, as you are pretty good with programming bisqwit, you should try to do rotation ads, and maybe sell some space on the website yourself. It would be an alternative to those of want to pay in the forum, but don't care about add being removed from their account. If you can keep track of how many print you do, you could sell this and maybe get a better amount of money.

Xboxes may have an OS, but I don't think it is loaded when the game start. Also it's only an executable that allow you to modify data, or start a game, which I think close the dashboard.xbe .

you should really go PPP instead of PPC. Google offer the two solution, maybe you want to take a look at google webpage to see if you can have Pay per Print. I think it would be better.

Don't forget than ePSXe aim to enhance the playstation, so the emulator might execute some code to lower loading time and such. So bad pSX is not open source, because that emulator aim for perfect emulation. They want to make the emulator looks like a pSX pluggued on the computer. But I think there's not much interrest in rerecording on pSX for the moment.

I was just wondering why a hack must be approve in an unofficial way ? or maybe it is official ? What I mean is that I wonder why viewer can't decide if a hack makes it or not. I think that it would be better to let those who what a tas if it should be published or not.

I wonder, wouldn't it be a good idea to add an hack section (I know that there's the concept section) but that all hack would be approved on the site. Just like every normal game, and it would be to those who watch the game to vote if the run makes it or not ? I think it would be a great idea to let viewer decide if the run makes it or not, just like normal game. Some hack can look very nice when TAS, and maybe this will bring some newcommer to the world of TASing.
