1964 also is open source and i think it is a much better emu but it has no recording but you could copy the recording feature of mupen because both are open source

because now rerecording for gb is available you can record a run for link's awakening and beat the game within 5 miutes if you use this trick http://www.hostultra.com/~z4g/tricks/fivemin.html

when you play the ocarina at master quest you can also use y istead of c<- and x instead of c-> and z instead of c down when you do so it shoud be easy to play the ocarina
