This only occurs when using frame-advance and doesn't show up during replays.
How are you using frame advance? I never found out

Would this work on others characters too? Also, Tails' Windy Valley in 0:18.06 TAS

The rules say pretty much that -- you need a movie that starts from power on that creates the conditions necessary for the run, and the movie does not need to be optimized.
When would timing start?

I have a question: If I wanted to start TASing Tails' Story, how should I start it? (With a complete save or no memory card and TASing Emerald Coast with Sonic)

I think this game would be fun to beat. It used to be very irritating doing the challenges and Quidditch matches. Here's a small demo I made of Flying Practice: http://youtu.be/d-JC_K5FX4g I don't think there are any game-breaking glitches (or any useful glitches whatsoever), but in the Expelliarmus Challenge Chamber I was able to skip the spinning spiked balls while they were moving.

Just use the latest official build. Or i suppose, better yet, use the builds in this post, since those changes are not yet included in official releases.
Thanks rog.

I'm going to have to re-TAS this on a different rev of Dolphin, keeps desynching in the same spot at random times. Does anyone recommend a rev? I'm thinking about using a rev with [desync fixes].

I'm using Dolphin x64 3.0-754, and I'm using the correct settings. I tried replaying the TAS again today and it synced all the way through. It's subject to desync probably every other time I replay it.

I've been having major problems with desyncs already. Somewhere around 20 seconds my TAS was messed up (that is a lot). For some reason THUG2 has less desyncs than THUG1.

I've started a TAS. I don't have anything to compare to though. :/

Is there anything going on with this game?
