The first question: with a real-time run, open the menu would cost too much frames to switch the powers. second question: i have to waited the raised wall before the boss room.

I'm a little lazy in this run, because i'm unlucky in the part of protect Ceil 90s, it's desync, so i must redo that part...but this part too boring to do( i must keep the same weapon exp), so i'm let it down, but i'll continue after complete the MMZX test run. Hmm, you just didn't want redo the Retrieve Data mission for your give up? i think you could use the tas-movie-edit to copy your input (also, the boss might be redo). Don't give up this run please, man, your work is very nice and we also want to see a full stage run with this game, so go on please!!

Because Gigo also have a position (when his HP come to 0, he will jump to that position from anywhere), when all of Aile and Giro come to their position, the dialog will be start. So i have just to try to control them come to their position nearly at the same time.

Thanks to Atma's suggestion, the Locate Giro mission and Pass the Test mission have been improvement 1400frams in total. Here you can find the 3rd WIP .dsm file. The area D is now completed, and i'll do the last test, then i'll put my exactly path in here.[/b]

Hmm, i'll have a try. In the Locate Giro mission i must get the computer chip then i can fight with the airplane, and in Pass the Test mission i must talk to the soldier first, so it is also some backtrack in area B and area C. But i don't know which way is better, so i'll have a try.

New WIP .dsm file. Just completed the Locate Giro mission and Pass the Test mission. The dialog is really too long xD. And thanks to Rolanmen1 for your encode.

Hmm, in this ninja game, i think it's too hard to read the frame counter and other information like this. BTW, i could not control the role to move/run like in a real DS, but other actions is all ok, is there a bug?

OK, finally, i have decided to do a test run at first for this game. The intro stage is complete now, but i'm not sure if this new style of move will be accept, so i need some suggestions. You can find the WIP .dsm file in Here Emulator used:DeSmuME 0.9.4+ win32 binary (r2964) And the game ROM used (U) version. By the way, is there someone can help me do an encoder and upload to somewhere? i'm too hard to upload any big file to anywhere with my worst network environment xD...

hmm, not too much idea about this, maybe only use the invincible enemies to get hit will have a littile help? i'm not sure... Anyway, impressive work, really not too much idea about this.

yes, i think this way is better, if you take the Rolling Slash, you'll cost 316 frames with the 79 air slash, i don't know if the Rolling Slash will get the time back in vs boss, so you'd better do some test to compare which way is better.

That's called "SkullCrush"?, i see, i don't know how to say it with English XD. I don't mean that, you can use the SkullCrush in all of the battle, let's have a small counting for this: Boss HP:64 Air Slash damege:4 SkullCrush damege:5 4*16=64 (total 16 slash) 5*12+4=64 (total 13 slash) so use SkullCrush will be better. The only thing (also a hard work) is manipulat the boss don't do the rolling attack.

hmm, agreed with you, i don't think there are sufficient enemies for the Rolling Slash before vs Anubis. In Retrieve Data mission, i think you can try the "last jump slash" in vs boss( the last frame with jump slash, which can make 5 dameges in vs boss, if you can't understand this, you can see my cancelled MMZ2 run, the intro stage's boss battle, here is the link:http://tasvideos.org/2380S.html).

If you have some ideas for take the rolling slash? i don't think buster is a good weapon in any boss battles~

He used a "floor glich" to make zero could use the stand slash to combo the boss, but i'v fogot something: it is a good way for takes no dameges, with take damges, use rod will be better XD, sorry about my fault~

i think the rod will be helpfull in vs OctaDragon Eye and Necromances Anubistepp III ( it will faster than use saber's rolling attack, but not too much ). OK, i'm also not sure about the route, maybe train mission-->retrieve data mission ( get the rod )-->find the shuttle mission-->hidden base mission-->factory mission 1 ... is good? with this route, you can only open the main menu one times for weapon change, and i think use rod+saber in vs Heavy Mechaniloid will be better than your WIP, but you'd better do some test at first. Finally, keep working on this please, i'm very curious how much time will be cost in a TAS!

xD, just see your WIP, maybe the intro stage is not too much change than my run, i think you should do some different actions to show what your style is ( for example, try to kill more enemy and so on). By the way, do you want to get the Triple Rod and Shield?

i think take damages is better~ OK, i have completed the intro stage with Desmume 0.9.2+ about 6 month ago, and i'm waiting for the emulator's development. Maybe i should do a full test run with 0.9.4+? To Elpis TK31: Thanks to your path, i'll do the test.
