I wonder if a cart with a replaced battery could mimic the effect of being new. It would technically be in a fresh blank state. Would also be less expansive than an unopened game.

Most TASes under the "Bad Game Choice" category are probably good to go if no improvements were found speedrun or TAS-wise since then.

Beating Wario-Man unlock the credits in the toys iirc. The microgames are played on easy because you're obligated to. The two other difficulties only come into play when you replay the stages (which enter a hi-score mode of sort) and getting far enough into them. Its not something you really do in the story itself.

Abobo's Big Adventure would be great to see if its Ruffle compatible. One of the better Flash game for sure.

Would be weird for a debug function, made for the devs to test the game, to take something in exchange for it to work, so thats another argument against it being one.

I'm thinking you're talking about the circus one. Its been a while since I played it on the Wii, on Steam (and I assume PS3) they does stop to do other attacks (they also only spawn a wave at a time) and you would need to hit them to not stop your combo by getting hit. But if on Wii, they just doesn't spawning them in that phase, yeah it does become less interesting. I agree that doing the game on Director's Cut would be way more interesting.

I don't know how interesting it would be, but I would love to see a TAS of The House of the Dead: Overkill. Maybe a maximum score goal would be interesting?

According to the error code and some googling, it apparently mean that the application was unable to start properly, whatever that mean in that context.

I think the difference with those is that in the hockey game, while she is not playing, she fight against a CPU. As for Warlords, she does move a little bit for the position needed to win, and again, she's against CPUs, the objective is to beat them. In your TAS, you're beating a player 2 while doing nothing, so your TAS basically amount to selecting the game in the menu.

I would love to see TASes of some those "Motocross balancing" driving games, my favorite one being Monster truck Curfew (I know Monster Truck instead of Motocross, but i'm more talking gameplay-wise lol). There is a lot of game in that genre, and I'm sure they would be really interesting to see optimised.

Any tips or trick you got on the game? I could look your stuff but I don't want to plagiarize your work, and I wasn't able to get your 3018 damageless by myself (I got like 25-ish frame over), so I tried implementing damage boosts, wich is obviously the way from what I've runned so far. Anyway won't work on another improvement for tonight,
