Oh... Well I feel stupid... though using dev builds makes me a bit nervous. I mean they're usually unnaceptable for submissions so I'm a bit unsure of using one for Dolphin despite Dolphin being the only one where that rule is a bit less restricted.

Ok, so it's been about a year. I don't know what's the recommended version of Dolphin now since I'm now able to use the 64 bit builds. What build should I use for TASing?

This is a pretty great improvement. I don't usually watch long movies, but this one I watch the whole way through. I voted yes.

Yeah, that's what it looks like on 3DS VC. I don't know why, but it does.

Link to video In the tutorial level you're supposed to shoot at the big red button with Phineas' baseballs to progress, but you can just skip it with a precise clip out of bounds. It has really wacky side-effects though as you can see in the video. For example, the Mayor Monogram textboxes freak out and then you lose collision with walls. Unfortunately, you're unable to beat the level because there's a section where you have to use Perry to climb a wall, but since you lose collision, you're stuck. Also you can fall indefifitely in a strange void and you have to quit the game and reset the tutorial. However, you can restore collision if you talk to a Monogram hologram first before you advance to the section where it glitches out.

Link to video first useful clip in the first level. Usually you have to press a switch to open the glass door, but you can just skip it by doing a rev-roll and a well timed jump.

Hello. Um... I made a palette. This palette replicates Nintendo's 3DS Virtual Console palette that they use for their rereleased games. https://files.tasvideos.org/dekutony/3DS%20Virtual%20Console.pal Maybe it can be added to the official BizHawk palettes folder with the others, since I didn't saw this palette in there. You can add it if you want to of course.

This was more fun to watch than the DK run. Yes vote. If you're looking for a new game similar to this one, maybe you can work on the sequel, DK Jungle Climber on DS? (please...)

A bootleg game that tries really hard at being a Megaman X game. It controls very sloppily. Here's a run: Link to video And here's my very first attempt at TASing a Megaman game... http://tasvideos.org/userfiles/info/45146241950075512

A new skip that saves time on Mission 9, but only for 100% runs: Link to video With the Snake Token Gadget, you can die and skip the Heads-Up 3000 minigame, saving some time and removing the RNG in that section of the mission. Bonus: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GfnSXOmgRrs Found a new way to crash the game with a new trick I like to call "Puffle Buffering". When you pause the game and click on your intended target with an Elite Puffle, the puffle will hit the target while the game is paused, causing some strange effects like this.

Looks pretty good! I hope you're able to finish this since TASing a Sonic game can be pretty difficult. I wish you good luck on the project.

Oh. I've been bamboozled then, the filename on the ROM I used said Shindou edition. D: Ok, if the actual Shindou version doesn't run, you might want to post your issue in the BizHawk sub-forum to see what's the problem, or just use a different version of the game instead if it still doesn't run regardless of the plugin or settings used.

Haven't really thought about that, good call. Just tested this out and I can tell it's faster. This new route looks more and more polished than I anticipated, thanks for bringing this up, pal! :-) AND. As a mental note, on Mission 1, while the Jackhammer is sinking in the water, I can mix the hook and the rope to make the grappling hook WHILE the animation is still happening, this saves a couple of seconds. Again, thanks, pal. AND. On Mission 6, instead of asking Jet Pack Guy for his jetpack and trap Herbert, you can click on 3 lights on the roof and trap Herbert that way. Guess who found that out just now...

I used the Jabo plugin (which is the only one I can use on my PC) on Dynarec core type. I used the last 32-bit version since it's the last one to have Jabo. Also I think the red SHA does mean it's not the same ROM, I dunno what's up with that. I guess you also tested the game on GLideN64 since that's the most accurate plugin available.
