I considered that still frame but I didn't see what made that one stand out. So I went with one where one of the enemies is literally caught with their pants down.

It doesn't. I'll honor your request.

Do you have any other screenshots that show off a glitch?

Can you put an "About" tab that shows the version number so it will be easier to keep track of various versions for movie playback purposes?

To expand on CasualPokePlayer's folder of savestates, I have taken them and created a series of movies that start from those savestates that use the inputs from the run, one movie for each point earned in the run. This saves on the enormous amount of memory needed by BizHawk to dump the movie (<1 GB vs 15 GB) and a Lua script isn't needed. https://mega.nz/file/ClFzWT6b#8BFm8mUmLEJjgC_nk0OglNub1_rI9RD5OAJp4dU1-Uk

Thanks to CasualPokePlayer himself, we now have a series of savestates from which encoders can encode various parts of the run from. https://mega.nz/folder/d0Vj1RAT#uSg9bxjY38sstSZItUDNeg To make it easier to encode, run this script right after loading the savestate but with the code at line 62 replaced with
client.pause();

Why does your run look two minutes slower than this run? [2744] Genesis Sonic 3 & Knuckles "newgame+" by marzojr & Aglar in 27:31.29

A little advice, if you can't write much about the submission in English, try writing instead in your native language. #8367: longbao's NES Megankreuzstilette in 30:22.55 is one such example.

I'd like to report that the latest version of Bizhawk that has a version of Genesis Plus GX that works with this ROM Hack is 2.4.2. Current Bizhawk's GPGX core would need updating for this romhack to work again there without having to use PicoDrive. I'm also having doubts as to whether all the glitchery that happens in the run is actual glitches or emulator inaccuracies from using PicoDrive instead of Genesis Plus GX.

Does this game accept subframe inputs? I'm curious about that because that could overcome the CPU at the end.

Sure I can do that.

Is it fine if I modify the end of the movie file to include the instant replay of the last race for the publication? Here's what the final race would look like in instant replay? https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/925049317570527232/1127782162121367602/output.mp4

That's because the TAS was made on a bad dump of the game. Here are the checksums of the ROM I used from a TOSEC set that syncs on this run.
Meikyuu Kumikyoku - Milon no Daibouken (1986-11-13)(Hudson)(JP)[a].nes
MD5: B95381BB82D3FD57CBEB9B72C7B8EFF6

Headerless SHA-1: CAE321883096FCE188F3B4DB678FB1926361C9A5
These match the checksums for the Bad Dump listed under this No-Intro entry: https://datomatic.no-intro.org/index.php?page=show_record&s=45&n=1412 TASVideos also has this specific ROM catalogued here: https://tasvideos.org/Games/97/Versions/View/2879

If that's the case and if we're gonna be dumping with savestates, I hope CasualPokePlayer knows exactly where to have his bot generate those savestates. The ~12 hour video idea to me felt easier to implement because savestates would only have to be generated every 2590000 frames.

The less files that have to be uploaded to YouTube, the better. I'd rather have 67 parts instead of 99.

Or we could upload the first 12 hours, and still make a playlist of unlisted encodes of the rest of it and link to that playlist, and the first 12-hour encode would be the one embedded in the publication
This is the idea I've been thinking of the whole time. The first part of the encode is the one that's visible on the YouTube page and that video will link to a playlist where the rest of the unlisted parts are. As for an SD encode, I didn't think about that. Making a single encode file cannot be easily done by multiple people, unlike with the HD encode.

Tested these files out. The first one works while the second one doesn't sync and never dumps for me as it always closes prematurely.

I knew someone would improve this with a bot, and I'm glad it was you. And I knew a couple seconds would be shaved off as a result. Though I'm sad you didn't use the Star in 8-1 to kill some Goombas, but I understand that the zipping you did there saved way more time.

Why weren't the extra levels done in this run?

I'm gonna go with "complete levels" as I think that gets the point across more than "full levels".

Can you also supply screenshots to use as thumbnails for the publications?

The subtitles are covering what appears to be a life counter on the bottom left. Key elements of the HUD should not be covered by the subtitles as much as possible. I suggest splitting the subtitles into three subentries and putting them at the bottom-center.
