I barely noticed when you took damage. Loved the frame-controlled wall-jumping. It almost looks like you're floating.

I wish I had this information twenty years ago. I would have destroyed my sister with it. We used to play tic tac toe all the time.

Really? Don't you need bombs to enter Tourain without fighting Ridley?

I'm sure it won't be everyone's cup of tea, but I do urge everyone to actually play the game before deciding whether or not the movie qualifies as being "well selected" or entertaining.
From "Generic Tips": Remember that your movie will be judged on how entertaining it is to watch, not on how entertaining/hard it was to play Anyone who has made a movie for this site knows how hard it is to play these games optimally, but "hard to play" doesn't necessarily mean "fun to watch." This game is painful to watch, as most of the movie is Waldo walking around in an irritatingly slow manner on a meandering path. I know you're new here, and this is your first submission, so please don't take this personally. I'm judging the game, not you. Please, try again, just use a different game.

I don't understand what you mean. Did you watch the movie?
Oh, absolutely. I wouldn't have voted otherwise. I'm just thinking out loud here, trying to figure out how to be entertained by a puzzle movie. The pauses didn't bother me at all. The music starting and stopping got a little irritating though.

Not as old as I feel. I got my Gameboy as a present for my Bar Mitzvah.

I had to vote no because I didn't enjoy watching it. I don't know if that's a condemnation of puzzle games, but I wasn't entertained, despite the fact that I've played this game a lot.

I love this movie. Frame-by-frame control was very impressive. Jumping looked very precise. Many enemies were killed for items, which is something I felt was missed from earlier versions. The only nagging doubt I have is whether another UP+A should be used exiting Kraid's lair. As far as the replace/coexist debate, I think both Arc's run and this run can coexist. Arc didn't exploit glitches or the UP+A, and this run did.

I can't find the right ROM for this game. Every one I can find has a suffix in the name...JU, E, VS, etc. Can you give me more information, like the full name, or the file size (zipped/unzipped)?

In Final Fight, Guy was the weakest of the three characters. Has that changed? "Few miss punches" is quite noticeable. Not recommended. Often, you attack a guy, knocking him down, then you run to the center of the screen and run back to him after he gets up. What does this accomplish?

The animated Street Fighter movie kicks ass. We're laughing at the live-action American movie, which if I could erase from my memory, I would.

I believe using weapons would slow the game down, as a weapon hit is a sure knockdown. Punching and pile-drivers do more damage.

This is USA seen by people around the world because of that Irak incident and because people voted again for that Butcher. :P
Come on now, this game was made in 1990, when "that Butcher" was a nobody. His father, on the other hand, was President of the United States.

We've talked about these games before (I don't feel like searching for it right now), and the consensus is that the two games are so similar that only Code Name Viper should be bothered with. Rolling Thunder was a cool arcade game but the NES version is quite poor, with hardly any music and a stick-figure protagonist. Control-wise, it is very stiff, as you cannot control your jumps very well nor can you shoot while jumping.

First and foremost, do not miss shots. It looks very sloppy. Secondly, do not waste time (or shots) on unnecessary things. You won't need points, so ignore the medals. Unless you take damage, you won't need life recovery, so ignore food and life upgrades. The "M" grenades should be useful for saving time, as they do damage as well as clear the screen of bullets (if my memory serves me correctly), so feel free to use and collect them. POW, obviously, should be collected when possible to increase weapon strength and range. Thirdly, have you considered using Final Burn Alpha to try the arcade version of this game? It looks much nicer than Genesis. It is also a three player game.

I didn't even know that there was a RESET option...it's certainly not in any of the menus. How did you know about it? Can someone add that piece of information to the documentation included with the emulator? The good news is this solves a lot, as pressing F3 is a recordable input. So simply press F3 immediately after beginning to record the input, and the reset will be recorded. Golly, after months of waiting, the answer was simple.

Haggar alone, or Haggar & Cody as a team are the best combinations. Guy moves the fastest but I believe also does the least amount of damage.

Sure, I'm aware of that, but the emulator has no RESET button. How can you create a time attack without recording from a reset? Has it been modified? The version available for download seems to be the same one I downloaded when this news broke in July. I already tried to do a Magician Lord time attack until I got stuck on the lack of a Reset function. See my last post here: http://tasvideos.org/forum/viewtopic.php?p=9030#9030
