I see the same. I wonder if it's possible that someone starts building a final page to navigate by platform/game name.

Just add PNGs and we'll compare.

Does that mass removal mean we'll need to explicitly explain why manipulation of some removed run was heavy to get it back into the list? Because I'm seeing several false removals at the first glance. About Megaman glitched, it's not an average ACE, it's (like SMB3) the one that only is able to do ACE if a bunch of objects has certain attributes, and their attributes are then executed as code. Not RNG related, but creates an unlikely event and it's the whole point of that run (same as SMB3 glitched).

Forgot to add this question to the OP. Whoever already posted, please answer too: Describe what difference do you see between full fps encodes and deblinked ones. For me, deblinked look almost 100% identical to the source.

Good note, but here we're testing if officially intended browser is able to show it at 60 fps, because if it's not, then even support in all browsers isn't helping. Otherwise I agree with you.

Post subject: Official support for 60 fps YouTube?

There has already been a lot of discussion about that, but it was never reduced down to a clear poll, neither did it aim for figuring out what exactly does youtube do to 60 fps footage, and how to properly use it. So here it goes. YouTube is only able to play at 60 fps in Google Chrome (support in Firefox Nightly and Internet Explorer 11 was reported, but never tested by us), when you select that option in the Quality drop-down menu ("720p60fps" or "1080p60fps"). Other browsers only allow to select quality/resolution, but don't add the "60fps" option. Why is it important for us? Because absolute majority of our runs are at ~60 fps, so it'd be reasonable to watch it at native framerate. However, streaming at full framerate was not possible until recently. But we really needed it, because many games were using it as a feature to simulate transparency (blinking on every frame at 60 fps does look like transparency on TV). If you upload a 60 fps video with such a blinking object to old youtube, it will show up as solid, or won't show up at all. We tried to fight that by dropping frames at different rates, like making it 25 fps, but I must admit that the smartest way to drop frames (drop 3rd, 5th and 6th out of every 6-frame segment) was not discovered. Then TASBlend, and ng_deblink were invented. The first one was blending every 2 frames into one, adjusting the percentage of bleeding of one frame into another. The second method calculates the mask for any object that's blinking every other frame, and uses it to make it (and only it) translucent, then after dropping every other frame, you get a look that's very close to the original footage. It only can't handle video where background is shaking at that rate, simply losing one half of it. It was also suggested, that when watching with modern 60 fps feature, background scrolling (and animation in general) look way smoother than at 30 fps dropped. The question is: Are you able to actually watch youtube at 60 fps? Which means, your hardware/software is capable of not falling back to 30 fps, even when 60 fps is enabled manually. Mine is not. No matter what I do, it's 30 fps only. So here are the test videos: Source (60 fps lossless emulator dump): https://archive.org/download/FullFpsTest/sm.7z https://archive.org/download/FullFpsTest/s3k.7z Full fps: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XYWRpehyRqo http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WgY1_31eBAo Deblinked: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZKMQVCTZFac http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TikaZ3NXLQA For how it should look like originally, watch the lossless dumps. Then watch full fps videos in Chrome (and other browsers for the sake of a test) with Quality 720p60fps or higher. Then watch deblinked videos in any browser you wish (won't affect the result). And finally, answer the poll. As for posting, please describe what difference do you see between full fps encodes and deblinked ones. WARNING: Set the monitor rate to 60 Hz.

You don't have a community to actually live on that site. And that's why we don't know an English-speaking alternative to TASVideos. But in China and Japan, such communities exist (and are huge), simply because of the language barrier with us (and some other minor reasons) and strong video services alternate to youtube.

MESHUGGAH: The reason is that my paranoia has a limit. People notable for being really paranoid about all they do usually have another limit: they can't contribute such perfection for a really long time (human nature is limited in general, you can bend it, but you can't fight it). I'm more of a logical thinker than routine repeater, and I hope it helps me to serve the goal longer and cover a wider area. I'm not deliberately sacrificing quality to quantity, but when quantity is big enough, mistakes are more frequent.

How do you imagine checking all tases one judges for all existing tricks at all? I verify questionable submissions, but who'd expect intuition to fail miserably this time? Moved it for you. Can't you edit Game Resources?

I agree with franpa. Even if the search isn't impossible, it's made much harder by listing all movie edits there (which has what point exactly?)

The game starts out at a reasonable clip but within a couple of minutes the speed maxes out
Kind of sounds like difficulty stops increasing at that point. Though I can't find when exactly it happens. But after it's no longer any harder, ending input would be an artistic choice I guess, so can be arbitrary to some extant.

Yes, but if you really want 2 games, just try hard enough to get them working with identical input. Even if it costs more time.

Actually, I got an idea. We allow arbitrary goals, right? For Moons. Suddenly, right here it seems to be the only way to get this run a moon - to cut it somewhere arbitrarily, before an average viewer is tired.

No sir, it'll have. Example 2 game with 1 controller: controller press move button for game A then it will affect to game B, the result will have moving in both games. Now example 2 game with 2 controllers: controller 1 press move button for game A then it will not affect to game B, the result will have only game A have moving, game B still freeze. Sure RNG will not same
It is effectively using a separate input track for each game, and this is not what the usual trend "several games with one input" supports. And if so, why even make them a single movie?

Oh, you mean use different input for 2 games that way? I don't think it'd differ from playing them separately then.

That was a revolutionary run actually. No one expected a GT code run to be so superb entertainemnt-wise, and it was the first one to prove game end glitch is possible in SM (after a tremendous amount of research the authors did). TAS of the year to me, no discussion.
