The guideline is about Moon cases I believe. Inversion's judgment note is exactly what I'm saying. Bugs bunny is pre-Vault, looking at the rating, it should have been rejected. There is also Bushido Blade 2, that uses an unlockable mode, but was still vaulted, but it happened before such a situation was actually thought over.

Passwords or cheat codes that aren't supposed to be known from running the game for the first time aren't vaultable. So you guys have to actually like it if you want it accepted :) Otherwise it'd have to be 2 runs - all normal stages (vaultable) and all extra stages (only Moons).

My point is, it's is a clear Vault run, and it was not submitted back then because there was no Vault to accept it to. When the latter appeared, unrejecting of runs that could potentially be vaulted happened. In other words, if this run was submitted and rejected, it would already be published in Vault. Also, I don't understand what is wrong about asking for submitting an old completed movie.

I'd say don't spoil and wait until it's finally done.

feos looks at publication rates. Welp, people don't think it is suboptimal at all! And the entertainment rating is hilariously high. It'd be in top 5 of the most entertaining Stars! Since suggested a bunch of times, I'm now in favor of finally starring it. Anyone disagrees? Also, what do we do to other Genesis Sonics that have stars (2)? Removing the S3K any% star isn't possible, it's one of the most mind-blowing runs on the site (hence newcomer rec). Is the S2 run by Aglar as different from both S3K any% and this one as they are different from each other?

I'm a little confused how you missed a mass unrejection of movies rejected for boring game and acceptance of them to Vault.

I mean, say you have some spawn in your run that isn't there in MaTo's. What frame is it at in your movie, and in his? So that I could simply do a breakpoint and find out the reason.

I made a TAS of this game, just for fun. It turned out 2 min 3 sec faster than max's run. It is also faster than Apo123's WIP. I decided to not waste ammo, for the sake of the run looking less sloppy, even though it does waste some time at the end level count down. Much faster boss fights, some new strategies, killing aliens faster and optimized movements make up for the time saved. Here's the movie file if anyone is interested. The Genesis version of this game looks/sounds a lot better, so that's probably the version that should be TASed, which means I don't think I'll be submitting this.
What do you think about submitting it? I'll accept it to Vault or even Moons :)

What are the exact frames where the spawn does and does not occur, in those 2 movies? Also, do you have any RAM addresses?

Re: inaccurate poll. Indeed, people love to use it the old way, so they vote on "Should it be published?" no matter what, in many cases. We developed a suggestion that solves this problem. If Vault stops existing as a tier, and instead there are Coins (or Records), Moons and Stars, where all any%/100% runs simply go straight to Coins/Records, and all side branches go to Moons, there is no longer any room for borderline cases and depending on subjectivity in the area of "vaultable" runs. Right now, the poll gives a hint on what tier to move the run to, and if it's "unvaultable" and poorly received, reject it. The judging system would remain exactly the same, but there would no longer be need to determine what tier to put an any%/100% run to. So returning to the poll question, "Should this be published?" would start making sense again, because the viewer would be supposed to be able to figure out 1) whether it's an optimal run, and 2) if it's a side goal, is it entertaining enough for Moons. Wait, is it what I think it is? A famous JPN-only survival horror?

I'm thinking of making Kurabupengin a Vested Editor, so that he could add those screenshots to actual publications. But it is a good practice to post them here for a check first.

If I find a guy that owns a card and is ready to send it to you (in Russia), how will sending it be set up? I'm going to throw a call somewhere, and people will want to know how to send it. Also, how will the post costs be paid?

The best you can get for the above game is this: And it's only when using the method described at the bottom of the Screenshots page, otherwise it will look much worse.

1. Primary encode uses SAR because it isn't rescaled when encoded, like 512kb is. For primary, it saves some file size. And Archove.org wants the already corrected aspect ratio for its streams. Same with variable/constant FPS. 2. What's the exact difference between crf and qp? The latter is used for HDs since 2010, I didn't really ask myself why.

Like analogy much? Alright. Please show me how many people here want "a bit less" spam, or "a bit more". Show me where are discussions about the allowed spam measure. Or about the site policies regarding idiots or morons, that are unclear or disagreed about. If you can't, your analogy is stupid and makes no sense.

Alright. So now I know that Archive.org was blocked in russia. Because it somewhere contained some video that is considered illegal here. Any ideas how to make it work? Under Tor the site loads, but I can't finish an upload. Under proxy it doesn't open. VPN... never tried.

Hmmm, no one thought about expanding the speed records tier with more goals. But I bet the problem with adding "more actual gameplay" there is that it's impossible to define it well. There will always be people that want "a bit more" gameplay included, and that want "a bit less".
