"What are you b'ank you" Nice run, voting yes.

Haven't watched it, but the YT thumbnail is the best promotion this submission can get!

Is it possible to have a movie that beats the game in the same amount of frames, but shows normal graphics in the ending? I would prefer to see it.
I disagree with this. I love to see the games as glitched as they can be, providing something visually new even when there is nothing that can be new technically anymore.

My post was very compact. It described why this particular movie does beat the game technically. All the rest was flame and abstraction.

There was like 4 instances of pointing the wiimote past the left side of the screen on one frame, and then past the right side on the next frame. Any less would have resulted in crashing into alligators/rocks/shurikans/spiders. I don't think that could be done by a human.
At what hour minute of the video this happens?

You disagree on what can be considered being completed once again. Technically IT IS completed, the rules are not violated. If you still FEEL it is not, feel free to examine the holes in the rules and report them here. Or quote the rule that is violated by this movie in this thread. It is also fun that initially you said the matter of completion doesn't bother you at all with this game, now you are asking "Does this really do it?" It looks not like an open discussion, but as infinite discussion with no chance to end it. Unless someone's post is mod-edited for pushing Warps opinion. It's dangerous to talk to you!

Shouldn't the author's nickname be Qwerty6000 as well?

So you are saying that I should just accept any random answer that someone gives to the question? It's not like this is a question of mathematics, like "what's 4 times 7?"
I can't care less on whether you accept random answers or not, I'm saying you are not going to get an answer different from what you already have. If you think the answers on your questions were "just random", it's not our fault. I insist on moving the WHAT IS GAME ENDING I DON'T EVEN discussion somewhere there. This thread is about the movie and its validity according to the existing rules.

I have no idea why you keep bringing that question up in each submission glitched like that. Gameplay completion and glitched technical completion are 2 different branches, 2 different achievements. It doesn't matter how the latter one "looks". It just is how community receives it.

Then I want to express my amazement by what you did to Gimmick! at AGDQ and by Bucky O'Hare work on your channel! I couldn't imagine TAS strats for such complicated games can be used in real time at all. Back on topic though, why don't you try to TAS Batman yourself with all that knowledge of this game?

Just doubleclick the dialog header and there you go. Best fit options affect this mode as well, so aspect ratio will always be the one you want.

I still think what I suggest is how SM64 tasers work. They make an initial movie and everyone tries to improve it. The ones who succeed then go to the list of authors. This thread now just was the place where everyone added a bit of improvements (similar to Games forum threads), we can't throw anyone away. We now only must trace whose improvements were really preserved during the process.

Because it is still improvable. These runners seem to practice and try to death, they even have that tool that counts their time and compares to the best attempt.

Aren't you trying to say the RIGHT-most player need to be far enough to the right to scroll the screen at the fastest speed?

Warp: though now you don't raise that question, here I have something that proves the validity of such an ending. The game executes the very ending code, it is only a matter of WHEN and HOW it is being jumped to. The game's pointer gets broken and runs through RAM, then through open bus, and then reaches some numbers in the beginning of the ROM. These numbers contain the ending routine somewhere inside them. Game Over routine is somewhat related to it, so in the previous movie it also worked out. And after that code is executed, the game proceeds exactly as it does when the ending is reached the normal way. More details can be found here: Post #326882 Post #334078 Post #326684

The person that finds the LAST improvement must submit it and list everyone who came up with improvements ITT as co-authors. No one disagreed with that proposal so far.

I see. Misoptimization shall not be considered a trade-off however, it is still misoptimization. But yes, I'm voicing my will to accept this submission and wait for someone who can implement the improvements. Ideally, it would be the author himself, and everything must be discussed in an appropriate thread in Games forum. It is a great start already, let it grow to a serious level.

Can anyone estimate whether the saving coming from the scrolling glitch makes up for the losses in suboptimal places Heidman mentioned? I think it would be critical, since we still could accept a run that can be improved, but introduces a time saver bigger than the possible improvements.

"?" in the name produces some problems. No way to use it in filenames, no way to use it as a homepage. And the very forum name is still xxNKxx. To me using xxNKxx looks more logical actually. N?K can be set as a real name I think, while xxNKxx can be a nickname. Using different names on forums and in submissions makes no sense to me. Unless both are equal (/*- and slashstardash).
