I think we can publish this even with a 360p youtuber (will probably get 480p some time). And only then reencode it anyone hates the current quality.

pcsx commandline allows to run it with a named script already loaded.

Uh, I don't believe it'd change anything. The effect anyway sounds like a plain spam, only not using it at all might help. But it's impossible. Also, why expect that excitement from a game like that?

I believe only the first non-movie frame is needed to be saved and checked, it's the state the game gets right after the movie, so it is going to be correct no matter what. No need to copy the last frame input, it will occur anyway. Also, some basic Cx program that just presses buttons the way a human would for both instances will definitely save tons of time and labor. This way you won't need to invent insane techs to exchange data through lua addons, the program would store all already. .kkapture system may give some tips as it runs instances from the outside.

feos I'll just list the sound issues of pcsx now. feos many games sound broken with syncing plugins. wanna have a better sound? use eternalspu. it desyncs. wanna figure out why? it's closed-source. wanna contact devs personally and ask to fix stuff? their site is dead. wanna recover it? archive fails. wanna resync? have a nice month doing it manually. wanna automation? get someone that makes a tool that crashes the emu. wanna fix the leak? NO ONE is going to trace. and so on Mothrayas =D feos there are ways to record from plugins. but the sound gets recorded no matter what, paused emulation, lags, fags... feos THEN feos most video plugins emulate broken things like screen transitions and miss frames. wanna fix it? USE ETERNALSPU feos when I look at the reality we have with this emu I can't believe it exists in the same universe with me feos and yeah, pcsx-rr development is also forbidden forever feos awesome Mothrayas =D

I uploaded the files to Artchive and only then noticed they were named "tas" instead of "playaround". All the rest was ready, but Archive really takes much more time to rename than to upload. Just wait. As for the movie, it was too much hurt to watch, but the goal represents the game from a new side.

Only one poster did say he liked it, and even he mentioned the sound killed it "a bit". Reading the thread, looking at the votes and listening to the very thing I see no other possibility than vaulting.

It's ok to disagree with 80 people, it's understood.

It has 11th highest entertainment rating among all our publications. And all that are higher are only speed oriented. It does tell something about how worthy it is.

Do you anywhere kill the savestates you create during the process of finding the best savestate frame that fixes desync? The first instance seems to roll back every 11 frames or so at desync points, and check if the new savestate (being farther back) fixes desync. It creates new savestates during this process, but once the earlier one gets created, you do not need to store the later ones (as they don't fix desync). I don't know if they are saved to disc or kept in memory, if the latter, it's most likely the memory leak. However, I don't see any way to kill the savestate in pcsx lua.

Isn't Spike able to encode his own run?

What's wrong with these people who can't read discussions? The first submission thread contains GREAT feedback.

On topic. These cutscenes are in fact about 15 fps, and .kkapture speeds them up to 60, ignoring the waits. After all, I dumped the lossless Intro and 3 versions of Ending (any%, 100% and max casualties) at 60 fps, using P.E.Op.S. Soft Driver 1.4 (Abe's Games Fix enabled) and Eternal SPU 1.4. Here they are, for future generations: http://code.google.com/p/feos-tas/downloads/detail?name=Intro%2BAny.7z http://code.google.com/p/feos-tas/downloads/detail?name=100%2BMaxCas.7z

It may be in the file properties as "modified" date.

Found some kind of a source for EternalSPU 1.5 beta. Only 6 files. That's that? http://www.emulation64.com/files/getdownload/579/

First, try reading the submission decision. Then, we always can move movies. Though, there is no rule about what ratio would result in what tier.

You don't have to, a dump was already sent to encoder.

LarmaRatPatter: if you don't do it and ask someone to add all this info, then someone else would have to do it :D It is all spread through the threads of this frame war. However, you'll become way more experienced if you look them through yourself.

peops sound syncs only with limited fps. and kkapture freezes pcsx with limited fps EDIT: Hey, look, I only needed to use interpolation with TAS plugin to make it match the peops quality *an ambiguous smile reflecting this odd messy feeling goes here* EDIT 2: How to make the cutscenes run slower now?

Some people mentioned that when they were playing CZ on console in their childhood, there was a point in the lifebar where your HP stops decreasing no matter what. This may be tested for every HP value.

I renamed the file and the folder and got it running. Also, the best settings for this game and run must be these: Graphics: Surface Memory -> Let Game Choose Sound: Format -> 44100 Hz Runtime: Multithreading Mode -> Allow Will dump and check the audio sync now. EDIT: The audio again needed a 300ms manual shift backwards to sync perfectly. Link to video

I dunno, line one looks like "TASVideos discussion board" to me. EDIT: Oh wait. It's... "TASVideos :: View topic - ..."
