After reading everyone’s posts, although I am poor in English, I am very disappointed.
Many people only saw the slowdown of level 4-1, but did not see the bug that the score displayed on the right side of the screen when killing the hedgehog.
Even if you don't like the way of wasting time (actually make use of time), Happylee's video must be more entertaining than MrWint's because it displays more glitches in a shorter video time, get 100% kills many times, makes various difficult movements, triggers more special ending, etc. It gets a higher score as well.
Why do so many people think this movie is not entertaining (boring)? Even my video can get 80% of the support rate. When you vote, the question is clearly written above the options: "Did you find this movie entertaining?", not "Whether you liked MrWint's video or HL's".
Feeling sad for Happylee. In these months, with 180,000+ re-records, he clearly improved his previous version with obvious improvements. However, in exchange for such an end.
(Partly translated by Google)
Edit: Yes, we cannot pleased everyone, but persuading those who do not understand HL's work is just as using in-level time and making more gorgeous movements. It is harder, and more meaningful.
But to tell the truth, the slowdown of 4-1 is really not smooth, and it will make people feel uncomfortable. It could be better.

Wow, you completed this large project, congratulations!
I love NSMBwii, I used to play this game with my brother in my uncle's bedroom. This is the only game I have played with my relatives!
However, because the game is too perfect to find an amazing bug / glitch, the effect of TAS is not shocked enough.
Anyway, there are still many superb operations to enjoy!
Meh vote, I think that level 8-7 could be more entertaining. You can show a lot of extreme operations in this level. (You can watch Nonster's any% movie)

"What? I just tested that a week ago." When you say this, I believe you think 4-4 is the limit, but it is not. As long as it is possible, I boldly say there is no limit. I do not agree that you have called this frame your fault because Happylee will not make mistakes in his SMB TASes, just not get.

Struggle for years, limit testing thousands of times, just for 1 frame which robots can exhaustive in few seconds, it's bad, indeed. MrWint should have taken his powerful robot to test any other game, is that?
Agree. I watched the video of the New Super Mario Bros. Wii and found that there was no technical difference between TAS and RTA. It was just a little faster, but not very fun.
The facts have already happened. At least this time, we should think about good things. MrWint didn't beat you, just tied, and you'll get the final record; his robot proved that there is no limit to the SMB record and there is still the possibility of saving another frame, although almost zero right now.

Absolutely Yes Vote for this faster run. Waiting for HappyLee's best run.
BTW, I want to use MrWint's tools in my Syobon Action game huh... because many times the work we do is exhausting & testing all possibilities in some key jumps, which is so boring. Why not use tools to complete these limits, and then focus on the entertainment, or better game routes (especially the route that use glitches of the game).
It's great to see the showdown between computer/AI and humans... in TAS!

Wow! Hard Relay Cat Mario! I'm sure that this world was tested in Hourglass before uploading the game to the internet. Yes vote!
BTW, I'm confused with the paragraph "Addresses". You can run Windows games in Bizhawk?
Hourglass itself has a tool RAM watch, you can easily open the .wch file in this tool.

Uhh... I'm in trouble... I've done as you said but...
Maybe the problem is that Hourglass can only run on Win XP.
(Acutally, the system of my laptop is Win 8.1, you can hardly imagine that I made this movie by VMware Workstation)
If your system is XP, please set Multithreading Mode to Wrap, Multimedia Timer Mode to Synchronous, Message Sync Mode to Semi-Synchronous, Wait Sync Mode to Synchronous Skip and try again.

Make performs when time permits
What?
Regardless, since Hourglass doesn't like me I'm going to have to wait until a temp encode to vote. It'd be nice to see another game that works well in HG, though.
I‘ m terribly sorry that my English is not good. "Make performs when time permits" means when I can do some shows that don' t waste time, I will try to do them.
As I understand it, that run you've linked is from the four-level "official" version of this game, whereas this submission is from the eight-level "fangame" version of this game, so I'm not sure if that limitation applies. A quick google search reveals over a dozen versions of this game made by a variety of people.
I have listed all the versions of this game in my submission and my run used the probably best game version (ver 0.8.1). Actually I don' t know whether this run can be admitted, either.

I renamed the file and the folder and got it running. Also, the best settings for this game and run must be these:
Graphics: Surface Memory -> Let Game Choose
Sound: Format -> 44100 Hz
Runtime: Multithreading Mode -> Allow
Will dump and check the audio sync now.
Link to video
Thank you very much! I managed to improve this movie's entertainment.

Hello gentlemen. I am trying to encode this movie, but the run is desyncing every time. jlun2's run works perfectly. If anyone who can get it to sync can upload their .ini file, that would be great.
The rom is different. Please download the rom in my submission.

So.... Let me tell about my Eversion experience.
When I clicked "play", some Chinese ad started. I went to another tab, and when I got back, I saw a woman wearing MMORPG clothes with cleavage riding a small toy horse.
Well, that's Chinese current top video site for you. Now you know what Chinese might feel when they couldn't access Youtube and watch nothing but ads everyday. :p
The run is fun to watch. I wonder what "bad ending" would be like.
Haha, I just download the game and watch it in Hourglass. No problem, no ads. yes vote.
