I love Spiderman, and like JXQ said, beatting poor people that are begging for your cash is kind of funny, but it gets boring. You have to beat every one of them to be able to go beat some more, and more, and more. Though, being able to play as Venom is cool! ;] I would watch it!... For Spidey¨=ç

The level design is very old fashioned and it's almost like playing an SMB3 hack: most of the graphics like the fireflower, the leaf, koopas, goombas etc. have been changed to SMB3 graphics.
I love SMB3, it is one of my favorites. I think Mixing it up with SMW makes this game very good. (In my opinion)

So you're doing a TAS of this hack?
Well it probably will not be accepted, especially with where i am at in the game. I think people will dislike the fact that running is rare in this one. PS: I found one that is even better than Legend of Luigi.. It is called Luigi's adventure!!! Done by Anikiti=D I just love playing as Luigi. Probably because of the green =P But seriously this one could be the one. It is amazing. I am testing it right now.

Legend of Luigi Since hacks are so popular these days i want to take the occasion to post this one. There are countless numbers of SMW hacks and i just wish to find one that will be better than SDW. I did a small run to see how good it would be, and i dont think it is better than SDW.Here is my short test run of this game. I cant seem to figure out that jumping glitch. Isnt keeping constant speed faster? I can't seem to understand the 6/5 jump. If someone wants to explain it to me i would be glad to read it. In this hack, you play as Luigi, the levels are different and harder than SMW, though almost every hack is harder than it's original game. I am actually stuck at the end of this movie, and i am not sure what to do, to save some time, if anyone is interested in posting ideas, go ahead. I am only doing this run for fun and practice, so please, do not bother posting anything about the fact that i "suck"... THX

I've beaten Spore Spawn but now I can't do anything in the red Brinstar area... I can't reach the top of the room even with wall jumping, but even if I could do it, the is a green door and I don't have Super Missiles yet. I can't go back because of the blue "door", which I can't open from the right. And in the bottom of the red room where I can't reach the top, there is a little thing (what's their name ?) that I can't kill, in a bloc. It kills me almost instantly, and I can't go anywhere there. Please someone help me :(
I was stuck at the same place. Thx to Tub i can now continue this game, and Bob A, your run was so nice, i wish it would have never finished. =D

Thx Fabian. I noticed that it is quite hard to handle. BTW at the moment i am not doing Second reality. I actually turned my head to Legend of Luigi...=P Yes, i know, it's another hack, but i like hacks. The game play is the same as SMW but you play as luigi. I am now at the second world in my TAS. I am planning to do a full run of the game. If you want to help out, that would be awesome. It's always good to have two or more opinions. The only opinion i have for now, is mine and my gf... That's not much, beleive me=P

I just watched mrz's first world TAS, and it seems decently done, but I imagine it could benefit from abusing the hop glitch, and possibly others. mrz, Is it safe to assume that you've made extensive reference to http://tasvideos.org/SuperMarioWorldTricks.html?
WOW Thx upthorn! This is so AWESOME! This page actually makes me want to start TASing Mario for real.
I'm going to assume that's sarcasm
That was no sarcasm. I had never seen this page, and, i am truly going to start TASing Mario, thx to it. =D I am not sure, about the hopping glitch though, the 6/5? I thought that just keeping your max speed was good enough?... Anyways, i will talk about this in the SMW topic... if there is one... =P BTW the fact that my SRW run "sucked" is because i had not seen this trick page, and it was the first time i ever tried TASing Mario. Seeing that a pro like mrz took some of my ideas for is SRW run, i assume that i am not so bad at it. Of couse, i need to practice a lot =P

Well if its the same game why even bother thinking of doing this? It would obviously suck unless they would be played differently while being very entertaining. Even then i dont think it would be accepted..... Anyways who knows.

WHAT!!! I had never seen this TAS before but if i had seen it back then, beleive me, i would have posted so many yes vote on this, that they would have banned me! This is now officially saved in my favorites... I dont recommend watching it on acid though, you might get stuck hallucinating Gradius the freaking, quik mosquito for the rest of your life... +:} BTW being so good controlling Gradius, why dont you do a TAS for Gradius III for SNES? I know... I know, it probably wouldnt be as good as the first one since its a classic and all but, it would still be amazing, that i am sure.

I just checked myself and you can make it. There is one difficult jump (the jump from near the top door to the next block on the right) which requires you to make a specific type of jump. First position yourself like this: jump up in the air while facing right, in the air face left and land on the very right edge of the platform. From here when you first turn around, you will drop a tiny bit downwards before you start falling. You can still jump during this tiny drop even though you are standing on air. This way you get to jump from a lower position than the platform actually allows. Sorry if I was unclear but this is the best explanation I can give. Good luck!]
Now this sounds complicated.:P

That was really nice, i liked the way you went up the vines or through the wall. It's a good thing that i'm done with this because i would have wanted to put those moves in it. :P BTW SCW and SMW is not really the same, SCW is harder.

Actually, Tub's story looks a lot like mine accept for some small details. :She serves me beer instead of tea, she likes sudoku too but is really into Tetris, Adventures of Lolo and all those braniac type of games, but the thing is that i live with her and have only one cpu so you see the picture?... Fighting over who plays first, or that i've been playing all day and stuff like that, but it's not so bad, i even like it. But she is right on the fact that i spend more time on my cpu than on her, that makes me feel low even... "geeky". I guess she deverse all my attention, actually, since she would even die for me. That was a great topic.Talking with you guy's really took the weight of my shoulders. Thx Guys! =P
