1) Why didn't you get a bomb drop while you were at the graveyard? That way you could have superslided out of Kakariko, and not have had to of twice backwalked across Hyrule Field (the most obvious) -you can only pick up bombs, if you got the bomb bag. i receive the bomb bag a lil later with cojiro(rba) 4) The amount of delay before beginning movement after entering an area, and also the horrible angling, leaves me to believe that you could have saved time by just mashing A and rolling everywhere. -if i moved to fast, the movie desyncs... i had to play the hookshot part like 10times, because i immediatly started backwakling gg Bisqwit wrote: What's the deal at around 33 minutes? You go fishing, but instead of catching a fish, you go swimming, and then leave with your rod. What follows after that doesn't make sense at all. You go around in various places releasing the bugs in your bottle, only to catch them again... -these are all parts of the reserve bottle adventure and i need the rod,a lot of recatchings and the "play any item as ocarina" glitch for this time.[/quote]

my plans were to create a new movie file after i recieved the master sword and savewarped to escape, but it desyncs with 2mupenfiles so i decided to die there. i couldnt pick up the chicken so i needed to screw it first by touching it so i can pick it up at the end.

he used a lot of savewarps in the demonstration run thats why his time is better. if u restart the mupen after saving, ur old movie file stops recording and u need to start a new one. i tried it but got heavy desyncs problems so i did it in one file which means i need to run back instead of warp and save time.

it was a run to get experienced with the emulator. i wasnt aiming for perfection and i had fun doing it. i didnt look for shortcuts but found one and i tried to finish the run hitless. since slash star dash uses some "takes damage to save time " jumps, i changed the route sometimes, but its mostly like his vid. youtube link : http://de.youtube.com/watch?v=nkhcYsos8uY no rapidshare avi file available yet

note that this is my first tas and i was to lazy to play every parts 10 times perfect until the poor emulator saves it. get this desync bug fixed and i will bring a more optimized run and stop saying that i did everything wrong :o

hello, i made some tas-runs but now ive got a prob with castlevania64. the mupen file is near 50mins and i cannot convert it to avi. h264 worked for me but in castlevania i got the error message: "VCR Warning - unknown country code , using 60fps for video". then i tried divx, xvid and every codex else but its always an instant emulator shutdown or this error message: "video codec failure! a call to addvideoframe() (avistreamwrite) failed. perhaps you ran out of memory"? my system is: E6600,2gb ram,7900gs please dont tell me the run was a waste of time i really wanna send my friends the avi file xd thx for help.
