Same.

I agree with Aqfaq on both points.

Cause it's way too similar to vanilla Super Metroid? It makes a great difference when you're playing it in real time, but as a TAS, it's basically a variation of RBO route with some slightly different sequence breaks.

Indeed, Randil has outdone himself this year. Also, I would like to nominate adelikat for the most universal player (did almost all systems), and Xipo and Cardboard for the breakthrough performance/most productive newcomers.

My point was more like, how much of this glitching is going to be omitted in the any%?

Most is two? Out of, like, 7-8?

I take the responsibility for suggesting "Bros." with the period to adelikat, because that period is a part of the name (which means leaving it out previously was a mistake to begin with). I should have mentioned it differently, so it's my bad.

Impressive glitching and noticeable improvement over the previous run entertainment-wise… But that dog sure breaks the pace. :\ I have troubles imagining what overall advantages in entertainment does the 100CD category provide if it requires so much backtracking and boring waiting periods. I guess I should look forward to the upcoming Forte version. Still, voting yes for the better parts of the movie.

Seconded. An increase of about 5-10 kbps will hardly kill anyone, yet it will most likely be enough to preserve sound quality on a better level.

In addition to that, there are many settings that always improve quality in case with H.264 — but at the cost of much longer processing time, which is the primary reason most of them aren't enabled by default. It's not particularly unexpected here to see an x264 command line that makes the file compress about 100 times longer for about 5% increase in quality. To find and use such settings is crucial in order to make a good encode. Don't forget that the file is only encoded once.

WE HOPE YOU HAD A BLAST Seriously, it's not as bad as you made it sound on IRC. There were several funny moments, nice rail slides and score tally screen deaths, not to mention the catchy music. It's a yes vote!

Haha, that was pretty awesome. Aqfaq, please, show us more good games like this (and feed them to JXQ!). :)

Try fifth. In the last month alone, even.

Btw, has anyone succeeded in jumping below the topmost block row? I remember it being regarded as a potential timesaver but I don't remember if anyone has actually managed to [dis]prove it.

Indeed, it's GIZ. I think you need GensPlus to open it.

Whoa, that's interesting. What religion does your God lead?
