Underexposed, indeed, but definitely not underrated: a rare Castlevania fan goes without drooling over this (and SotN, for that matter). I believe it's the single most famous PCE game.

We can use FCEU. It's just that FCEUX is better in pretty much every respect, aside from some of the ones you've mentioned, but they're pretty minor: filesizes of movies and the executable are hardly a problem in any case, and Win9x has been dead as a platform for years. There's pretty much no excuse not to move on at least to a 8 year old XP. In terms of stability and speed, I didn't notice the difference. Could you describe it in more detail?

Not unlikely but I can't say for sure.

I'm voting yes. This movie is 100% improvable. You are free to vote whatever on my future runs.

Also, just a note: both DeSmuME 0.9.2 (iirc) and the unofficial 0.9.3 (for sure) are supposed to have better game compatibility compared to the latest No$GBA.

Well, if there's something you lack, it's not creativity. :) I'd very much like to see such a movie!

What I'm worried about is the world thinking that terrorism by the Palestinians is somehow justified. Regardless of what the reason for terrorist acts may be, it's never justifiable.
Literally the same can be said about Israelites, really. But what baffles me more is that pretty much in every conflict semites are involved with, it's always talked about from standpoints of anti-semitism or pro-semitism. Colloquially it means that it can purposefully be presented that way (see South Park episode about hate crimes). Stuff like this allows every social minority ever conceived ride the emo waves (© TNSe) in ways that basically put them at a far greater advantage their "adversities" had ever had prior.

TASVideoAgent for the reasons already stated. I don't really second the sudden urge to change the channel name, though, people have known it as #nesvideos for years, and it's too small a part of the site to cause any disrepancies because of that. Then again, one could use that argument both ways. Oh well.

It's not an inspirational poster, it's a strip from an old cynical webcomic named Purple Pussy.

Wait, doesn't machinegun prevent the best ending? Or am I confusing something?

I keep thinking that Snake is the only non-mandatory weapon that actually saves any time. As for health upgrades, they're probably only worth it if they're directly on your way. Taking each of them takes what, 5 seconds? No way a meager increase in HP is going to save that much every time.

That's not technically a warp, it's just a shortcut to select a stage from the start. Not different to using passwords or anything else like that.

Before people start correcting me, this is the information I received from adelikat several days prior, so I may have remembered parts of it wrong.

This is about third (1, 2) topic for this game, if I'm not missing anything. Isn't it the time we merge them already? OmnipotentEntity: Be optimistic.

As one of the persons who have been very eager to see this run finished someday, I believe the most entertaining option should be picked. Having speed/entertainment tradeoffs is normal for 100% runs. With that in mind, I vote against option #1. #2 and #3 both fall under speed/entertainment tradeoff clause, so choosing either won't affect the judgement on the run. I'm leaning towards #3, but it's your call.

Ha, that looks very metroidish already.

Hey Bisqwit, whatever you will be doing in the future, make sure to come by a couple times a year and tell us you're alright, k?

The main argument against it is that it doesn't tell us in any way the footage there is an excerpt from TASes, nor does it imply any commentary, nor show anything on your identity. It's just there to be skipped. A 5-second long splash screen would have done better.

An ok watch indeed, nothing more unfortunately (and unsurprisingly). 5.5/7.0.

All relics seems the only feasible definition (should I rather say category?) out of those.

FIY, the intro is very long, and completely unnecessary (read: serves no clear informational nor entertainment purpose) at the same time. If not for that, you would be able to cram the entire video into YouTube's standard 10:59 limit.
