Glitch, get Virus Breeder without battle(blue version). But this glitch is not useful to the any%TAS. I made some tests about Final Boss ALPHA(blue version). In nico's run, he cost 590 frames all. In my first test, I used prism, icestage and bolt, cost 310 frames. But prism is very hard to got. If use the chip-trader, it will cost about 300 frames. In my 2nd test, I used icestage, varsword, rock and bolt, cost 570 frames. But I need to cost 120 frames to get icestage* first. I have some ideas to improve. In PART3, he can get the chip GutsStraight from hades's GMD. No need to get it from Beach2’s GMD. And then he should get the aqua chip Bub-V (maybe get Yoyo1 E, too) from 3-chip-trader befor buy the aqua chips. Because these chips are very expensive(BubbleShot D (500Z), HeatShot I (500Z), AquaSword N (5300Z), Burner Q (1600Z), IceWave1 A(2000Z), IceWave2 D(4000Z)). If he get Bub-V, he only need to buy BubbleShot D (500Z), Bubble-V F (1000Z), HeatShot I (500Z), Burner Q (1600Z), IceWave1 A(2000Z), no need to take much money from GMDs. Bad news, the U rom maybe fix the skip-rank. I use the Blue rom to test.

Mmbn3 only can be got 4 stars without cheat, because of the emulor. Mmbn4 5 6 can be got 7 stars (nearly 100% run). Do you mean the 100% is getting all HP up, MB up, all Standard chips, most megachips and gigachips I can get, complete all jobs and most PA, and get 4 stars? I don't think I can collect all Navi Customizer Programs in 10 hours. =.=

There is a tas from niconico with Japanese rom (white) in 2:14:54. In fact, this run is good enough and very hard to improve. So I still calculate it, now I find a giltch that can walk through the NPC (I played with the blue version. Emulator must be used VBA-rr23). This glitch can be used of all the mmbn games, but I'm not sure it very useful for tas. Because it still can't through the wall and the story wall. e.g can't through the "?" door and the road be prevented with NPC, because this NPC is not real, it like a wall with the NPC's photo. Sorry, not yet. I have watched the exe3 and exe6(mmbn3 6) tas in nico. It's very hard to improve, and the mmbn6(U rom) can't be used the tornado+WhiCapsl glitch like exe6(J rom). I forget that mmbn5 Double Team is in DS, maybe it's better than gba. What's about Megaman_Legends2 in PS? But I must konw the datas of all power and how to get money faster.

A Save + Quit at a strategic point could probably optimize the chip trader sequence a bit better, as in Bag's MMBN1 run. Actually, the point the reset needs to occur may be ridiculously early in the run though, so it may be impractical. (In response to the post above, the last cutscenes have manual text scrolling I'm pretty sure. You wouldn't be able to read most of it anyway.) This run is a solid (maybe better than solid, I can't tell that well...) execution with some creative strategies. Thank you for completing this run. Definitely worth publishing in my opinion. Yes vote. =) Do a MMBN3 100% run next! =P EDIT: Also, this run does not clear the Bass dialog at the end. I think it should, and perhaps end input on the completion time screen.
If I have the Unbelievable luck, I can only choose chip 5 times, but it's impossible. I can't change the random number, only use the random luck. If wait more than 100 frames, I must edit the chip. I think Mburst is the best way to beat bosses. Do you have another good idea? As I know, only MMBN456 can be got the 7 stars(about 99% run), MMBN3 is only got 4 stars.

You are right. I need go to official lab first. I only test that if I need to talk to NPC's girlfriend first or not, and fogot to fix it. I prefer to do MMBN5 or 6, because 3's varsword has too much power, and 4 can't be emulated perfect.

From the 3000+ data I dumped, I can't find any Blower. You are right, I can still use Fire+40, but 3 fire40 is too much... Varsword's sonicwave can hit prism 5 frames(times) first, as I said If megaman is in the front of prism, first varsword wave only hit boss 3 times. Knightman complete. Thanks, BOMF's notice. Help me against one battle in the mother1 computer. Suggest: check option-> video->disable SFX, when watch the run in the mother1 computer. A terrible thing...I can't get any Blower or Twister from 10-chip-trader. I think the reason is I haven't Blower's ID. So I have to give up it. If I buy two fire40+ , is not 3, would be better. If I have an amazing luck, I could give up buy fire40+, and only use the varswordB 5 times to finish chng.dat. I got 2 prism B from 10-c-t, because the more chips the less edit. I think I should complete this tas first. I don't know what would happened in this run. Maybe I can finish it next week. IN the castle, I can pass start and check chip 3 times to avoid bat. But It cost more frames.

Thinks, BOMF. I planed to use PrismB and VarSwrdB to beat the boss what in the bottom line. But I'm not sure I can use the same chips 3 times(KnightMan MagnetMan FreezeMan), so get Blower is safely. I have got PanlgrabP, I hope I can got the BlowerP.

The rom I used, its CRC32 is 6D961F82. The random battles are the uncertain battles what happened in the internet. BOMF, can you tell me how to get the 30 guard* chips? Go to talk to the girl and turn back to the backstreet, could cost 1400~1500 frames. But I got Guard* only cost less than 120 frames. I planed to get 39 chips in all. Only 7 chips are useless. I have explained that M-Burst power is not the real 1000.This is the first and second hit, every 9frames 1hit. I use the re-edit chips before the last Btest's 5battles to finish 10 battles(5 testbattles, 1 in bear, quickman, mission1's 3 battle)...If fix it, it will change the luck manipulation. Another thing which can be improved: The teaching battle, I can save 5frames, but I can't edit it. After talking to Mayl at the school, I should go through the park, saved 100frames... It can't be edited, too.

If I haven’t poimask chip or it’s ID(library’s ID), I only got poimaskW from 3-c-t. So I have to get poimaskW first. You can find the chip list changes simply after got poimaskW from my dump lists. In the first list, you only find poismaskW(6B 22). It’s seemed that Capcom didn’t hope we get VarSwrdB easily. Why did I use chip trade early or later? It’s seemed walking a little long. Because poimask is very rare. I have to wait more than 1000 frames at other time.

I have completed the first license tests battle, and get a better luck, so improve 640frames. 0468 - mmbn2wip1 But sorry, I made some mistake about the plan. Before beat sneakman, I can’t use 10-Chip-Trader, because of the robber. SneakmanV1 only have 600HP. Varsword only hit prism 4frames first, not 5(too bad, I must buy atk20). The map of Netopia-1 shows that I can get a Prism* from BMD, but in fact, I only get a PrismQ from PMD with the rom I used… So I have to use 10-c-t to get prismB. I have tested the power of M-burst. This is the first and second hit, every 9frames 1hit. OOOOXO--OOOXOX OOOXXX--OOOOXO OOOOXO--OOOXOX Therefore, use M-burst+Prism only damage 1500(if boss moves, maybe 1700 is max). Hey, BOMF, did you still poke around in mmbn2? I have some ideas to show you. First, I have seen this run which use the Japanese rom. I think he didn’t need to get any powerup, and he used the wrong PA. Because lifesword1PA is about 300frames faster than Gutsshot. Then, I don’t worry about random element, only using chip is enough. So I think custom style is best. I have found some address about styles. 02003A6C CUSTOM, 02003A68 GUTS, 02003A70 TEAM, 02003A74 SHIELD. Use these address, it’s very easy to control which the style I will get. This is my plan, and I have made a wip. I have to stop in here, because I meet the bad random. I need to find a better way to get longsword L(e.g. use wideswordL+atk10 to beat 2 swordy, or use wideswordL+V-gunL), and I must count how many chip I should get and use. I need to get all the chips which I can get easily to use chip trader. In this wip, I use the first 3000Z to buy cheap chips, X-gun J×2 and wideswordL×2. X-gunJ is used to beat License tests and widswrdL to beat airman. Airman300HP: 2×V-gun L30 + 3×widesword L80 And then I haven’t made. I think if Eri die when got Z, it would be better. In mission 4, I can give up H to save 7frames, and use bombs to hit soldiers and motors. But the bombs may be not enough.

You are right. I make a little mistake.But luckily, mission1 need squat at first time, and mission5 need jump at first time. Only mission6and7 cost 8frames in all.

The DeSmuME is same. Sorry, I can't uplode it to the youtube, and can't touch the archive, too. Now I'm trying to use mediafire, but low-speed-link to mediafire make me all fail. Edit: Success upload to the mediafire, and there is a little comparison about eri vs marco. This comparison is only 1min, and I have improved 369frames after get slug in marco's run.
