A first-person style racing/formula1 game for Atari 2600. I can't find out what game it was.
Sounds like Pole Position.
Pole Position is probably the game Bisqwit is looking for, but just a shot in the dark could it possibly be Night Driver ? (in the 2600 version the blocky lookin car kinda looks like an f-1 car even though its not)

Does Austria have a statue or museum dedicated to their most famous and deceased pop star Falco? I'm sure he's still rockin' Amadeus from beyond the grave....

Yes vote. I wish I could've zipped through Marble Zone like that back in the day because I really hated those sllloooooooww levels. The Scrap Brain Zone 3 breakage is just orgasmic. Good Job team!

The first instrument I officially learned to play was the trumpet back in 1991. I played the trumpet for about 6 years and decided to move on to playing a basic 5 piece drum kit. Throughout high school I messed around with all sorts of instruments and eventually discovered Fruity Loops and since then I have primarily been working with FL. I enjoy most styles of music and try not to stick to one thing. Lately I have been making mash ups of shitty popular music and posting them on www.myspace.com/phunqsauce . I also have been doing a lot of lo-fi jam sessions with a friend of mine where I play the synthesizer and he plays guitar. I would try to explain how it sounds but I don't think there are appropriate words to do so...

Yes desynchs are a major issue with the current versions of snes9x for these games. It was a major headache for Tompala and I when we were attempting to make movies with this series of games.

I was really looking forward to seeing these 3 games run if anyone is interested in picking them up... ya that would be awesome.
If you only knew the power of dark side making these games desynch like a bastard....Tompa informed me though that this problem may soon be remedied with a new version of SNES9x that is in its beta stage currently. If that is the case I'm hoping that he will team up with me to revive the project again. Of course I have to respect the fact that he has other projects he is working on at the moment.

I think this is what makes him better than any other superhero because he's just a human but still gets the job done. The man's got skills!

1,000 published videos and counting....its nice to see how TASing has progressed over the years and I can only imagine what will be in store for us by the time video 2,000 rolls around. I salute all those who have the skills and patience to make these TASes as well as those who developed the rerecording emulators and the various tools used to aid in the TASing process.

I would have to agree with everyone else that Inichi is definitely a ninja. I have been following this board since inichi hopped on and have been extremely impressed with all the findings. I felt obligated to finally say something after this discovery of major sequence breaking. As for use of the sequence breaking...I would say it would be ok some of the time but as it has been said before a major portion of the entertainment from this game comes from the boss battles. It would get a lil boring watching this technique used all the time. I would have no problems with some speed/entertainment trade-offs.

Hey Maj, are there anymore "variable atmosphere" videos out there? I found this one to be EXTREMELY entertaining because it wasn't just one sided combo action (don't get me wrong I still like those videos too). Thanks!

:) I wish I woulda known you were workin on this one Cardboard! Yes it has the obligatory boring Lapis leveling up and long Ligar battle but it showcased a lil more glitch/sequence breaking action which i really dig. I know I'm gonna sound lame by saying this was one of my favorite games as a child and it does make me a lil bit biased. I support this as a third entry into the Rygar family of runs and hope to see more in the future. edit: I agree with FODA on the screenshot.

Being a huge fan of fighting games and the site www.combovideos.com I think a seperate TAS combo section for this site would be a most welcome addition (or perhaps add it to the "concept demos" section) . It would definitely draw more interest to this site and add to the overall variety. DO IT!
