actually, i remember having 9 and the strategy guide as well, and anytime it got to something super secret or valuable to doing anything in the game, it told me to go and check online for it... yes, what a crap strategy guide that was. it wasnt like an online with other players thing, but i just remember them having it online instead of in the strategy guide. that may or may not explain the ONLINE thing you saw.

so... someone needs to come up with a t-shirt design then... only problem is, what to put on it (graphic-wise) since everything relating to games is copyright... ha, getting permission from the companies, that would be fun.

TSA had some comments at SDA about that... oh well... i cant help but think of this as marketing technique to make the game even more desireable... but then again, rushing anything usually has a horrendous backlash.

this game holds memories for me... but other than that, i dont think it could be entertaining unless something amazing was done to it.

QBob did a 1 player version of Double Dragon 2 that was quite debated over in which he primarily used flying knees.

nice. can be improved on as stated but its about time someone did this run. Guano, care to try your hand at the other "complete runs" that haven't been done yet?

desyncs are caused by many things... one thing is to have the control settings set to player 1 - 3 buttons, player 2 - 3 buttons. ...also make sure that the music/audio is up to the version you're playing. NTSC - 44100, PAL - 22500? (i dont have an emulator at the moment). also... i think one of the sound channels is good for nothing and causes desyncs... i cant remember which one though... DAC i think, but i could be wrong. ...no rings... hmm... might be entertaining... depends on how its handled.

the best things i could think of was saving and quitting the movie before coming out of frame advance and then starting the movie at whatever speed i wanted and loading and the state back. ...i thought there was a topic that said if you only opened the emu after a crash and then played the movie and reloaded it (last save state) that it would pick up from where it left off no problem... but i cant seem to find that source so im not sure
