Don't worry about this kid, guys. It's just Giraffecheetah (the SM64 troll). Same guy from this thread: http://tasvideos.org/forum/viewtopic.php?p=297622 I recommend banning him, but that's just me. Edit: To be more specific, it's actually him and someone else, but you get the idea. If you want to find out more about their "SMG TAS," you can read this, lmao: http://sm64.org/forum/viewtopic.php?id=677
Banned until 2015? I guess he can't be that bad if he didn't even get a perma ban.
It's to give him a chance when he's older since he supposedly loves SM64 :P

You aren't supposed to post links to ROMs... I don't see why you didn't link to the full video trailer on YouTube instead. Anyway, news I guess, I broke this hack after about 30 mins of playing by finding a way to skip from the 2nd Bowser level to the 3rd one. I may make a 0 Star run at some point, but I doubt it will be submitted here for obvious reasons.

SRMD, this is a TAS thread. Please only post TAS runs unless they contain significant tricks or times. 4 of those stars already have better times/methods for what's relevant to this thread.

Weren't you, sonicpacker and mapler working on an any% run? Are you actively working on it?
It's Hero-only, and yes, though it took the passenger seat in my life to the 120 Stars run. Expect more soon-ish.

Kyman and I have finalized the route for the first hub: SLR --> BoI --> GG --> Vanish --> MIPS --> PPP --> CH --> B1 --> Toad

You did. And the other encode streamed through here gives people that option.

To whoever keeps changing the YouTube link on the movie page, leave it alone for now. I had a conversation with staff last night and we agreed that the author encode will be the only YouTube one. Thanks.
Honestly, the clouds look terrible with the texture filter you used in your encode. Aktan didn't make that mistake. So it's a bit of a shame if other uploads won't be allowed on YouTube, for no good reason (?)
It's not a mistake. In fact, it's entirely intentional and that's only your opinion. Well over 50% of people like the way the filters look and I get far more positive comments than negative ones regarding quality. Edit: I mean, look at the first 2 comments of the TVC one. Speaks for itself.

So try to keep your movies shorter than a billion or two frames.
Well I guess that kicks out a "one year" Animal Crossing TAS...

Tentative route so far: http://i.imgur.com/rsuUe.png 75/80 stars confirmed. Critique welcome (and encouraged). Edit - 100 Coin option summary (aka notes posted from Skype): PPP - short, might combine with a confirmed star CH - has shell glitch option (do not know how much it could save), might combine with a confirmed star. animation skip? LLF - probably short, might combine with big bug problem (28s alone)/animation skip MMM - short, might be faster without red coins and an animation skip MSP - moneybag to duplicate/possible animation skip CCC - *probably* combined with door knocking if done. possible animation skip?

Got the "OK" from Skelux to use Deluxe. The run is already started and I'm in Piranha Plant Pond.

I already knew all that and don't plan on hexing anything regardless of version. This will be from scratch.

I agree with Dennis and bkDJ. If Skelux says he doesn't plan on updating the ROM anymore (or the updates only being minimal), I am thinking of using Deluxe. For anyone that doesn't know, here's the description of said ROM: "Super Mario Star Road Deluxe is an updated version of Super Mario Star Road which features fully shaded levels, an improved camera, option to play in hard mode, and many bug fixes. This is essentially just patch 1.0, but enough changes have been made since the initial release that I decided to give it a more unique name."
