suwei, are you still trying to improve the run? If so, I will delay encoding.
No, I don't plan to improve it again. That was the last time. Sorry for the inconvenience my frequent updates may cause. I'm expecting you to encode it. Thank you very much.

Good job! This game looks really good, compared to the original Metal Max; now it mostly looks like a Final Fantasy game. The subway area was a pretty nice touch, even though it was a little too long. Mostly, the game moves at a faster pace than the NES version. I was surprised to see how different your route was... you don't fight pirates anymore, and overall it seems there are fewer battles. I was both glad and annoyed to see random battles, because I liked seeing what the mechanical enemies looked like. I can't vote Yes on entertainment for this, mostly because (a) I can't understand the dialogue, and (b) there's not a lot that's very engaging about the fights or the plot. This is definitely a strong Meh for me, and it certainly should be published alongside the NES run. Good job again!
I agree with you that the subway is a little too long. But because of this, it became out of ordinary. If you choose this route when you at a low level, usually you will be killed without the protection of your tank. About the random battles, I also agree with you. The character design of enemies is also an important part of a game's culture. So it's a double-edged sword to display a random battle in a tas movie, even though I don't want it to come. About the entertainment of the fights in this game is not bad I think and the fights animation is very lively. For example, our second chariot(a total of eight) is a cross-country car. It's very special because you can use an individual equipment or personal tools in it. Then you can see the character's head rise from the car to strike enemies with his weapon. And different vehicles can be transformed in different forms. But all about these unable to be displayed in this movie. So do the plot of the game. Thank you for your view!

What's the meaning of it? I don't really know the rules here. Is it permitted to post an encode before it is accepted?
Yes it is allowed[1], even encouraged (mediafire, other file sharing sites, your webspace, your youtube channel, etc..). [1] But not to archive.org nor to TVC. And even after acceptance, only encodes meeting the guidelines for official encodes (high quality, low file size, logos, subtitles, length, etc...) go there.
I see. Thank you.

it's ok, you didn't did it on purpose at least it alowed me to update my bookmarks... >.> nice run, like the nes one.... so the dog was a boss....
Yes. It's a fixed plot there. The bug exists only in the nes edition. Even though the game has been well researched, that bug is rarely known by players because it's almost impossible in a real machine.

Update again for 342 frames improved. http://tasvideos.org/userfiles/info/2927539127735838 Avoided an unnecessary event "earthquake" and fixed other details. Unfortunately I didn't find these flaws when I updated it last time. Thanks to editor and I'm sorry to take your time.

Upload the movie to Userfiles ( http://tasvideos.org/userfiles/ ), then paste the link in this topic with a wish to update the movie, and a judge will fix it.
Thank you very much! I have done it.

It is a nice improvement! Special the dog warp and Noah battle. But you can't escape from all battles. Also I voted yes. By the way, you can post your new movie in the old topic and let the editor to replace it instead of resubmitting.
This is my first time to submit something in this forum so there are many things I don't know how to do. Thank you for your reminder. And thank you for your voting.

Alright, I watched the movie. Good job with the improvements. I'd probably notice them more if I could read the dialog, but it was still a good movie to watch. The music is awesome. There are surprisingly very few fights. You do have to wait a LONG time for that dog though. Is there anything else you could have done besides stand still? Other viewers: I recommend you take a look at the story of the game summarized in the published movie's notes.
Thank you very much ! I think I took too much time to waiting the dog . I will try it again and again to make it shorter . Because it's walking routes is random , the glitch may occur earier . It needs more attempts .

Welcome, suwei! I'm quite glad to see an improvement of this game. I haven't watched the movie yet, but I plan on seeing it later today. I have two questions: 1) Were you able to improve any battles? 2) Do you know any good resources for translating the dialogue of this game? This game would be more popular for English speakers if there were a translation of the dialogue.
Hello!Thank you for your support. I had some ideas about the improvement of battles.I had tried it many times but failed. And I'm still trying it. There is only a japanese version.Metal Max Return has a English version at present.
