Finally done with v2 of this game. I noticed that I missed 2 club swings at one boss in my previous version and I was gonna fix that to make it look better. I also managed to improve it by 17 seconds. This is because of some minor stuffs, some jump made better, but also better manipulating at bosses so I could kill them faster. I also "invented" some new shortcuts. Like not waiting for the stone in the volcano to fall down into to the lava so I could step on it.
Hmm. It´s Flintstones 2, it´s very similiar to the first game but this is somewhat faster. Fred climbs faster and the feeling I get is that it overall flows (good choice of word?
P) better.
The major difference between the games is that now you can switch character between Fred and Barney. Barney sucks but he has the ability to climb ropes which is totally necessary to complete the game.
And yes, I know that this might not be the best game in the world but since I did the first one I thought this would be as good ;P And it´s kinda funny to watch after all.
As fast as possible
Takes no damage
Manipulates luck
Genre: Platform
And that´s it I think.
Enjoy!

Truncated: Since this submission has received limited interest and somewhat poor reviews, and the game is quite uninspiring (and has none of the interesting points of the first game), I'm rejecting this submission. Sorry.
Congratulations on being my first judged submission though.

Any special reason for that no vote? I can fix things if that's the problem. If you simply don't like the game that's understandable..

Hello I'm not the no-voter you refer to, but I voted "no" too. The reason: The game sucks. It really does. And after all, its quite similar to its predecessor (which is, by the way funnier to watch) and brings next to nothing new. While I understand that (subjective) game-preference should not influence the publishing of the movie, I know it actually does. So I vote no strictly because I don't like the game. The run itself is very well done, though I's a shame there is no such cool glitch like the one allowing you to essentially skip the last page in Flintstones 1. Love to watch those things... Philip

Thanks Philip. That´s better critic than just a no-vote, even though I prefer yes-votes ;P Thanks anyways.

Revived. And, damn it! I had a big, extensive, pin-point accurate thing written here and was going to post it, but I hit the wrong button and it got eaten. >_<;; Oh well. . . My Vote: Yes. Reasons: You owned this game, back and front. Advice: Maybe stick with the Stone Axe sub-weapon a little more. Might've helped in the fight against the Evil Witch. Also, try charging Barney's shots if it doesn't take too long. Might help against the volcano bats. Finally, try using Barney to cross small pitfalls, like near the beginning of the Inner Volcano stage, instead of using Fred to fall down and catch himself on the opposite ledge.
I'm not that hard to find... if you know where to look. -=( http://jolikmc.tumblr.com )=-

Wee, another yes-vote! Thanks! To answer to your suggestions, which seems good. It was awhile now since I played this game, but if I recall correct the weapons does not work as they do in the first Flintstones game. Therefor I don't think it's possible to have the axe against the Witch.. Atleast that's what I remember right now. Your Barney idea might be a good one but I think I remember having problems with switching between them, not the switching itself (it's just a button press) but it might decreased speed or something like that. Also I remember it like Barney can't shoot low without stopping, and I don't want to stop more than necessary. Thanks though for your comments!

Digging seems to be in now so I dug this one up. It's been over a year since I made this but I don't really feel bad over that it hasn't got any attention really. Anyhows, if someone decides to watch this sometime I should probably redo it using FCEu instead. But I don't feel encouraged to redo it just to pile it up in the queue for another long time and also the fact that it would likely be rejected because of boring game =/. Oh well, it still isn't the best game ever made so no hurries.

I was actually browsing past this one a couple of weeks ago. Didn't had the time to watch it though. Didn't feel like bouncing it up without watching it first.

And I who thought the days of fmv movies were over... Anyway, I took the liberty to watch this, and it was very nice. I found the games physics-engine quite amazing, I mean just look at the waterarea, running and jumping like that when under the water was very realistic! :) Anyway, as I said, it was a good movie, I'm voting vote YES on this. Even though you missed breaking a stone on that stage where you're flying a bird! Oh yes, I saw that! *glaring* (joking) :)

That's most possible ;) It's over a year since I played this game and I can't really give a good answer of why I missed that rock. Thanks though for taking your time to watch this ;)

I watched it too. Not as boring as I expected, but not particularly interesting either. It's humorous anyway. My vote is positive and I encourage Walker to make a new version with FCEU.
