A regularly slow-paced game in which you control a dude named Normy through different time periods to rescue some beach goddesses. Normy moves slowly, but if you press A you can get a super boost. Normally, a meter in the bottom-left corner of the screen fills up, and when it's completely full, you can't dash until it cools down, but by rapidly jumping, you can prevent the meter from increasing, making the game very fast paced. I'm working on a TAS of this game. Link to video

Thanks a lot Highness! I've completed the first world/level. I'm just uploading it to YouTube now. EDIT: Link to video P.S the boss flickers during his mercy invincibility, which doesn't show up on YouTube. Just if you get skeptical during the part when I fight him.

Link to video I used the pigs to skip parts of the level! Also, the boss flickers during her invincible period. I always hit her on the first frame. On to Jungle!

I'm currently on dialup, is there any way you could post the GMV file as I can't view the video (would take a few hours to download).
Current thoughts: Hachiemon (J) for GBA.

At about 0:35 seconds in this video, you bounce up off of one white pig thing onto another, and your bounces are very very low. Would it be faster to land on the platform right next to the pig and do a full-height jump onto its back, to cut out a few of the lesser bounces?

I think he played around a bit there so the next enemy was in the optimal position for a damage boost. However, if that is the case, I think that jumping over it might be faster anyway. Good job, NitroGenesis. I look forward to the submission.

Tried and it was slower because those small bounces give Normy a bigger boost then jumping off the other one, mostly because it would take too long to get a good jumping position from the bottom pig.

Progress update: I've started to TAS the Jungle, and I've beaten the midboss, a rat who doesn't even have any attacks, he just jumps, tries to land on you, and repeats. I found a glitch that when he's on the ground, you can keep hitting him for multiple damage. I watched ram and found out he has 11 hp, so he's dead in seconds.

Heh, this game is based off a local So-Cal newspaper comic. It's like Norm is hopped up on coffee or something.
