Welcome to TASVideos! It's great to see a new TASer join our community. However, unfortunately your submission doesn't meet our rules and regulations. Specifically,
  • Starts from a savestate
  • Uses a trainer
For these reasons, I am cancelling your submission. If you feel I've made a mistake, please contact me by clicking on the "PM" button at the bottom of this post. Otherwise, please don't give up! We're happy to help you refine your work. Make a new thread in the Newbie Corner, or find the existing thread for your game of choice, and we can give you feedback on how to make a truly great TAS.

Not to be rude, but this is almost guaranteed rejection, for two reasons. 1. Beginning from a savestate. This is almost NEVER allowed, except to access things like hard mode. Apparently, you begin from a savestate to save the time of activating the cheats in the trainer. Pre-setting up like this is VERY not allowed. 2. If you wanted to access the cheat menus, you should have just put the codes to access them in yourself, in the [!] dump, instead of using a dump with a trainer on it. Watching your movie now; I'll give my thoughts when I'm done.

Randper Kombat was a good choice; it helps keep things fresh. Late Fatality by Stryker to Sub-Zero was amusing. From what I'm seeing, you basically do nothing but beat the opponent. You don't try (very hard) to look cool, and you don't show off. I'm sorry, but this does not look like a TAS. It looks like real-time play by a very good player. This, in combination with the previous problems I mentioned, basically means that you don't have a chance of this being accepted. Additionally, fighting games generally must have a LOT of entertainment value to be considered for publication. As examples of the kind of thing we look for, check out [934] SNES Mortal Kombat II "playaround" by VANDAL in 22:43.68 and [1333] SNES Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 "playaround" by SDR in 16:46.58. I'm not trying to be mean, just being straightforward. Stick around and show us some works-in-progress in the appropriate threads, and there'll be plenty of people willing to watch and help you out.

I would say 90% cheated. It begins with a savestate. This was done to make the trainer part of this game invisible. And the published UMK3 movie shows more from the game.

Using a Trainer makes TAS look like cheaters. No vote.

That's easy This submission is more than 5 minutes faster, so the current "record" can easily be beaten... So there are enough people around who want to obsolete it, and they would even have a fair chance of getting a star for it. I would suggest that our "playaround" movies don't get labeled with their duration, for example [1333] SNES Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 (USA) "Playaround" by SDR You would still see how long the movie is if you want to watch it on Youtube. You would also instantly see that the author didn't aim for fastest time.
