Hi Anita. Welcome to TASVideos. To answer your questions 1) Perfect grammar is always preferred here. However there is a Spanish speaking board available if you are more comfortable with speaking in native language http://tasvideos.org/forum/viewforum.php?f=58 2) For the most part TASing can be time consuming. If you feel you are lost or getting stumped. Try checking out walkthroughs or Speed Runs of the game you wish to TAS. Try taking time off for a bit to get refreshed and clear eye on timing. 3)As long as you follow these rules. You won't get banned http://tasvideos.org/ForumRules.html

It's probably because 15 years of dwelling the internet has made me a cynic, but I can't help but be a bit suspicious of this.

Welcome to the forum Anita. To answer the questions: 1. Perfect grammar and spelling is not required, but if you are able to do it you should. We cannot enforce it as many of the members here are not native English speakers. 2. It all depends on which emulator you have chosen, some are easier to work with than others. Memory address searching is also quite easy to do once you know what you are looking for. LUA scripting can be rather hard but there are many tutorials, I think there is one on TASvideos as well. 3. Following the rules of the forum and using common sense should keep you out of trouble.

There's no policy about that here.
Warning: When making decisions, I try to collect as much data as possible before actually deciding. I try to abstract away and see the principles behind real world events and people's opinions. I try to generalize them and turn into something clear and reusable. I hate depending on unpredictable and having to make lottery guesses. Any problem can be solved by systems thinking and acting.

I think he was just temporarily banned. At least it says 'member' on his username, not 'banned'. So tell billy to try to log in again, he was a funny guy, I liked him. Jokes can get you banned sometimes though if they go too far so that people don't understand the jokes; that has happened to me on this forum and others, lol. You don't need perfect grammar here, it's just that people like to have something to complain about, that's why they complain about grammar sometimes.
