Starting a topic with just "Anybody" doesn't help with the flow of the discussion. Give more information...

This game was not released to stores. I've tried TASing it before. It is faster to keep doing high jumps.

There's a zipping glitch. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nD6bkm6JRl0#t=6158s Also, you can jump from the height near the stairs and grab them before you hit the ground.

Why not posting WIPs here?
Warning: When making decisions, I try to collect as much data as possible before actually deciding. I try to abstract away and see the principles behind real world events and people's opinions. I try to generalize them and turn into something clear and reusable. I hate depending on unpredictable and having to make lottery guesses. Any problem can be solved by systems thinking and acting.

Tested Level 1. Report. On ground, wait 5 frames after each landing to jump again. On poles, press Up just before you miss it and next frame press A. On ladders, each jump must be tested, the top of the ladder can't be jumped onto, only climbed normally. Shooting slows you down horizontally, but you can prevent the delay by shooting on the highest vertical point of your jump, or shooting diagonally being above the enemy. The game has no actual lag, but it still freezes the motion when there's too much objects. Terminator moves differently according to your movements. Will be glad to see your attempts, present or old. check out my WIP. There's a lot of glitch or trick present in this and i think this game is good enough for TAS

Meanwhile, Level 2. http://tasvideos.org/userfiles/info/1212589828856836 I enjoy TASing this game. But curious if it's fun to watch, because of constant jumping. Link to video

http://code.google.com/p/feos-tas/source/browse/trunk/LUA/RobocopTerminatorLagCounter.lua Lag counter works only with the latest revision of FCEUX. Only higher byte for Y camera wasn't found.

Try looking at the script.

I haven't taken the time yet to make any direct comparisons with the posted wip, this is just something I toyed around with briefly. I'll get into it whole hog sometime soonish That said, the 2 minor route changes should be faster. In theory. I don't have numbers to confirm or deny atm though. Also the lag is weird.

Yes, lag is a problem. You're using the lag script, right? I kind of abandoned the project, but I have level maps. They miss some areas probably, but the main route is visible. https://sourceforge.net/p/feos-tas/code/HEAD/tree/trunk/Misc/RoboCopVsTheTerminator.7z?format=raw

maps: helpful. lag script: on the to-do list, i was using rudimentary methods for gauging lag. i'd find all the frames where you could jump at the earliest time possible, then count how many frames sooner i could jump if i shot enemies at different times. very caveman tasing, but i mostly wanted to just take a break from actually running the damn thing. fwiw the back half of the game has a lot of clips & zips that should really make the game a fun watch

My script uses the feature of recent fceux to force emulator's lag flag, so you will basically have legit lag values in savestates too, overall it operates exactly as real lag counter.
