I'm kinda new here, and I've created a TAS of SMB1. However, when I try to submit it, it denies me access to submit it, even when i'm logged in! Can someone please help?

That is a serious bug. Now I am logged in in TASVideos Home. I can see my submitted movies too. But when I tried submitting a movie. The page asked me to log in......

I don't know about your submission problems, but I suggest posting a WIP here before making a submission. You'll get a lot more constructive feedback here in the non-Workbench sections of the forum than you will with a submission. Sadly, people can be rather cruel with their comments on the workbench, and it is very hard to make an improvement to Super Mario Bros. 1. You can upload your movie to Microstorage and then share the link with us here. Welcome to TASVideos!

thanks, but the TAS I made wasn't going for fastest time. I actually played through it with only Small Mario. I like to call it the Small Run. In other words, I couldn't get hit.

I still recommend you don't submit that. The current any% run is already small only.
http://www.youtube.com/Noxxa <dwangoAC> This is a TAS (...). Not suitable for all audiences. May cause undesirable side-effects. May contain emulator abuse. Emulator may be abusive. This product contains glitches known to the state of California to cause egg defects. <Masterjun> I'm just a guy arranging bits in a sequence which could potentially amuse other people looking at these bits <adelikat> In Oregon Trail, I sacrificed my own family to save time. In Star trek, I killed helpless comrades in escape pods to save time. Here, I kill my allies to save time. I think I need help.

You can still upload your movie file to Microstorage (as linked above) and/or encode it and upload it to YouTube for others to watch. Generally, Super Mario Bros. 1 isn't a good game if you want to submit, because the current runs are very much perfected already. If you want to make a submittable TAS, I recommend you find a different game to TAS - such as games that don't have a run on the site yet, or games with old movies that can be improved. Either way, good luck with whatever you'll work on!
