As always, I have provided a release package on my sourceforge project. It includes the movie file, spreadsheet comparing against the previous movie, a Ram Watch file, and savestates for each level.

Improvements

This is an improvement of 1314 frames over the previous publication. Most of this comes from a glitch I exploit in Level 3 that I call the Ice Glitch.
For further reading on this glitch see the Flintstones Game Resource page
Aside from that, most of the improvements are small improvements here and there throughout the movie.

Thanks

Thanks to Brushy for his contributions to the previous movie (which was tightly optimized for the most part), and Walker_boh for his previous movie and the use of the elevator glitch in the final level.

turska: Judging.

turska: Accepting as an improvement to the published movie.

I've been trying to watch this in the emulator, but when I download the Windows binaries for version 1.1.0, my program immediately crashes. I didn't have this issue when I installed 1.0.2 some time ago. Does anyone have any suggestions here? Sorry about putting this question here, but I wasn't sure which forum in the BizHawk Forum area should be used for that type of question. Anyway, time for some comments related to the actual movie (seen via the temp encode). I'm definitely glad to see the improvements! The boss fights are noticeably better (especially the mammoth), and you've reduced a bunch of lag (especially underwater). However: * Did you test what happens if you use the ice glitch to slide into the machine part at the end of the ice stage? * The entertainment during waiting periods isn't as good this time, I thought. Less gratuitous head-bobbing to the music and rapid ledge catches, and you should've gone chasing after the vampire boss with your club after he was beaten (like he was being swept out of the castle or something). All in all, though, this certainly deserves a Yes vote.
Used to be a frequent submissions commenter. My new computer has had some issues running emulators, so I've been here more sporadically. Still haven't gotten around to actually TASing yet... I was going to improve Kid Dracula for GB. It seems I was beaten to it, though, with a recent awesome run by Hetfield90 and StarvinStruthers. (http://tasvideos.org/2928M.html.) Thanks to goofydylan8 for running Gargoyle's Quest 2 because I mentioned the game! (http://tasvideos.org/2001M.html) Thanks to feos and MESHUGGAH for taking up runs of Duck Tales 2 because of my old signature! Thanks also to Samsara for finishing a Treasure Master run. From the submission comments:
Shoutouts and thanks to mklip2001 for arguably being the nicest and most supportive person on the forums.

Install .NET 4.0 The prereqs installer doesn't always do this properly for some reason. That should fix your problem. And that is assuming you've run the prereqs installer in the first place. As for chasing the bat, that sounds like a great idea, I'm sad I didn't do that now.
It's hard to look this good. My TAS projects

Cool glitch, Yes vote.
Warning: When making decisions, I try to collect as much data as possible before actually deciding. I try to abstract away and see the principles behind real world events and people's opinions. I try to generalize them and turn into something clear and reusable. I hate depending on unpredictable and having to make lottery guesses. Any problem can be solved by systems thinking and acting.

Lovely improvement to an awesome game! Yes vote from me as well. On an unrelated note, has anyone attempted to make a TAS of Flintstones 2 - The Surprise at Dinosaur Peak! except for Walker Boh? I'd love to see a published movie of that game.

I don't know anything about this game and just watched a small snippet. But, what the hell is Gazoo doing when he's repairing that machine? This looks like an NC-17 video game, hahaha.

Why does the publication page's torrent link read "BizHawk movie file (*.tas)"? This movie was submitted as a *.bkm. Could someone fix it?

There's nothing I can fix; that stuff is all automatic.

Oh, my mistake. I thought it would be as easy as editing the name of the link.
