Hello everyone. I'm first time bringing of this game..The game Street Fighter Zero3/ストリートファイターZERO3(Original name) more known like Alpha3 Released in 98.
SFZ/A3 is a evolutions of the previous zero series, and there was a huge improvement in the fight style,combos,animations/mode(VIsible on PSXv) and with adition of fighters that it was missing In A/z(Street Fighter Alpha or Zero) and also in A/z2 (Street Fighter Alpha2 or Zero2).

Game Feature

In Street Fighter Zero 3, when you select your fighter then ask you to choose 1 of types 3 ISMs:
  • X-ISM (You can build your super in 1 lv like in SST2X, note: you will cause a high damage on your enemy.
  • Z-ISM (You can build your super in 3 lvs like in sfz and sfz2
  • V-ISM (You can build your super in 2 lvs like in sfz2 sfz2 that it was together to the 3 lvs. You can perform free custom combos, instead of the sfz2 that you was being pushing forward and then you should make combos during that.
The game has also the hidden modes. They are Classic Mode, Mazi Mode and Saikyou one, them all has relation to damage on your enemy. So, you can understand the chance for easy dizzy is high.
The Game bring the mode where you've got controlling both players against the cpu and using them to pummel his opponents with style. This is the called Dramatic Mode. it's excellent for TASes.

Game objectives

  • Emulator used: FBA RR v0.0.2
  • Rom: Street Fighter Zero 3 (980904 Asia)
  • 2 players
  • Dramatic mode
  • Final Battle Mode
  • Reset Game
  • Combo count: reaches 99 hit
  • AI manipulation
  • uses all ISMs
  • Aims for entertainment, not fastest time

Comments

when I started this run, I just wanna create a default playthrough and then came the ideas of wanting to add new stuff. One of the fights that you'll see, will be Sagat/Honda vs Balrog where was being made a combo and at the end, happened a dizzy on enemy(intentional) . That was just to add the trick "multiple dizzy" with Honda. I did that to prove it's possible make a 100% combo without get dizzy the enemy. I used, dramatic battle , 1p to story/final battle mode and extra aditions which include some glitches and tricks found to become the run interesting and watchable.

Stuff

Kattobi cancel:

that can be little known but to z3 players is old hat. You'll need to active the custom combo for the glitch works. Basically when you perform it, your fighter will be pushing at the toward you are. To a easy compression you can understand it, like if were a "march out" of the zero point till destination point. In each fighter this glitch act of diferent forms, and the singles fighters that have a different reaction to the glitch.

Multi-dizzy:

When your enemy is dizzied and before him getting stand up , if you perform some special move that catch , surely you'll can make it, this is the game glitch

Simultaneous Supers:

If you perform a supercancel with both characters at the same time they'll can both use the same level of the super bar. example: Ryu and Sakura 2 Hadouken at level 3.

Expressing thoughts.

In my opnion this game is cutest street fighter ever made..narrations, background sound, fight styles, fight, modes.. It missed only "parry" but this game is enough for me.
Best regards

Noxxa: Judging.
Noxxa: Another good playaround by SDR. The run does well to showcase the variety of game modes and characters in the game. Accepting for publication alongside the current "Dramatic Battle" run.

This differs from SDR's previous fighting game playarounds in one important way--the game is beaten about halfway through the encode. He then does a reset and spends a couple minutes showing off glitches and interesting combos that I know *I* have tried to pull off but sure as heck couldn't in realtime. It then finishes with an appropriate final battle before credits roll. So, if you start to get bored and notice that the run's "only halfway done," just give it another minute or two. The story run here finishes with Balrog, Vega, Sagat, and Bison, for your information. For my opinion of the run, it's clear that there was effort to keep it from being too repetitive, but it's pretty close. It's technically solid, and I was definitely entertained, but I've played the game a lot. Not sure how people who are less familiar with it would think.

Another neat playaround by SDR. Very nice, especially the absolute demolishments of the CPUs. The question is, though, would this obsolete [1999] Arcade Street Fighter Alpha 3 "Dramatic Battle, 2 players" by errror1 in 05:21.45?
http://www.youtube.com/Noxxa <dwangoAC> This is a TAS (...). Not suitable for all audiences. May cause undesirable side-effects. May contain emulator abuse. Emulator may be abusive. This product contains glitches known to the state of California to cause egg defects. <Masterjun> I'm just a guy arranging bits in a sequence which could potentially amuse other people looking at these bits <adelikat> In Oregon Trail, I sacrificed my own family to save time. In Star trek, I killed helpless comrades in escape pods to save time. Here, I kill my allies to save time. I think I need help.

Eh...I'm quite a fan of SDR's previous arcade fighter runs, but this one is a bit off-putting. Many of the resets are done to show off glitches or silly combinations we've seen prior. Rolento/Rolento shows this "be frozen just above the ground" glitch that Guy does early on. Chun-Li/Chun-Li and Gen/Gen show obvious "mash on opposite sides" 100% combos. Nothing in the two-of-the-same-character parts was very interesting to me. I voted Meh on the grounds that half of the run is redundant. I'd much rather see the Rose/Dhalsim run stay over this.

i voted yes cause i do think it should obsolete the original dramatic battle TAS but i think using dramatic battle does not really show the real "setting" of the game,as it is 1vs1 normally.SO my favorite part was the Ryu versus Dictator.lol Also,i think the arcade ladder from sfa/a2 can be abused to make a much more interesting TAS playthrough using all relevant characters with 2p battles and Cpu battles to get over the uninteresting ones.
TAS i'm interested: megaman series: mmbn1 all chips, mmx3 any% psx glitched fighting games with speed goals in general

When I created this run, I hadn't intend to obsolete the error1 one, instead of that, it bring more a run of this game to the site, showing other modes and stuff. I respect the error1's run. The best way of explain it which is my intention would:

I liked it. The guy stuff was nice, a few of the rounds at the end seemed unnecessary but overall it was a good run.

Obviously yes vote at this wonderful playaround the game graphics, quality and dramatic, V/Z ISM modes make this a potential game to get destroyed by the TAS user. What really surprise me is the time to get accept, I can't understand why this takes too much time to be judged. Could any judge explain that?

As I recall, the last time it was because some people believe Street Fighter Zero 3 is too similar to certain other games in the Street Fighter series. I'm not saying I agree with that, but that was the argument.

There isn't anything in particular for the arcade platform that makes it take long to judge, but fighting game playaround TASes typcially need to have extra consideration and thoughts in regards to judging it, because we can't just simply publish every single playaround anyone makes. We need to take into account what would be worth publishing and what would not. The main delay for this TAS in particular was me having to decide whether or not this run warranted obsoletion of the other Street Fighter Zero 3 run, and not having much response to go off with. I only count four responses to the question I asked earlier in this thread, one of them being the author, and the response to that being generally quite mixed. This made it hard to decide what would be the best solution for the site.

Thanks for reply, now it's more clear why playaround videos takes a lot of time to be judged, probably when it's the first game publication the way to go judging, getting feedback or whatever the runs shows make more fast to get accepted, thanks Mothrayas.
