Is support for the Super Gameboy incomplete right now? It certainly feels like it at the moment. The default borders work fine, though, but then the actual gameplay is quite slow, as well with "twitchy" scanlines, as seen below, and the sounds are crackle-ly. Actual SNES games run fine, though. EDIT: Also, Mega Man, enemies and all projectiles turn invisible at certain points in Neptune's stage.

Code-wise you are emulating both SNES and GameBoy at the same time, meaning it will require A LOT more CPU power than just SNES, which might explain the crackling audio, caused by the audio buffer not receiving any data when the game lags behind with a frame or so meaning it gets empty every now and then. The crackling is a "silence" that gets inserted when the buffer is empty. Someone actually involved in BizHawk can probably give you an answer regarding the graphics glitch, and maybe explain more possibilities for the crackling sound.

Does it work in bsnes? Because that's all we do, is run bsnes. Is it's SGB emulation "complete"? No. Then again, what do you mean by complete, because no emulator is...
It's hard to look this good. My TAS projects
