This game is the last Mario series of Super Nintendo released in Japan. It is bundled with the Nintendo version. If all stages are not captured, there is no credits. This game resembles Tetris Attack basically, but can break it with a hammer.

Game objectives

  • Heavy luck manipulation
  • Aims for fastest time
  • Genre: Puzzle Game

Luck Manipulation

The initial placement of the panel changes by waiting before a stage start. The panel falling by a timing to push X sometimes changes. It changes more by pause. I push forward one RNG of the next stage by turning a steering wheel.

The basic tactics

It will disturb an opponent to do a chain and many connections. However, the battle is over when one color of panel does higher than 9 connections. Since it does not end until an enemy falls down to a screen, luck manipulation is carried out so that an enemy may go downward as much as possible.

Possibility of the improvement

Because an initial random number turns big by a power-on noise, this game may get an ideal random number depending on setting of Lsnes.
added: It becomes initial RNG where is equal to Snes9x now. It was not possible for me to choose better Initial RTC value.

Nach: Nice speedy run. However there's not much action and highly repetitive. Accepting for vault.
Ilari: Processing.

Never expected this game to be beaten so fast and this is a 100% run. Was entertained how bad you made the CPUs look, voting yes.

What the heck is this game? Even after reading the description on Super Mario Wiki, and watching other YouTube videos of this, I don't get what's going on. "However, the battle is over when one color of panel does higher than 9 connections. " Does that mean using 10 or more of a color summons that game-ending Bowser card?

Did I have to choose Random initial state? If so, I did not know that.

When and the panels are lined more than three or they chain it, they attack it to an enemy. When those 9 panels cross, a signboard falls. This game takes several minutes until an end if common.

AFAICT, it does not. It neither enables random initialization nor has initial RAM contents. And indeed, loading the movie and hashing the WRAM gives the usual result.

Awesome work as always. I watched this run, and watched other playing movies, and then watched this again. Well, I don't think those can be the same game's videos. Voted yes.
Retired because of that deletion event. Projects (WIP RIP): VIP3 all-exits "almost capeless yoshiless", VIP2 all-exits, TSRP2 "normal run"

This was a very short puzzle game. This is not a bad movie, but didn't really left much of an impression on me. Meh vote.

Very disappointing. I am appalled by this! Seriously, it's called WRECKING CREW, but is just a Tetris Attack clone. x.x;; Childhood memories ruined. The TAS on the other hand was awesome... except for that pervert at the end, U Dokun or something... that was just ewww.... Mr. Kelly R. Flewin

Technically impressive, but not all that entertaining to watch imho, since all the levels are completed in about one second and the rest of the run is cutscenes and overworld.

She was a ghost. She was looking for a playfellow.

If it was a Tetris Attack clone you would only be able to swap two blocks.

Oh, blame my lack of Japanese knowledge. Thanks for the clarification! ...although I liked my version better. :P

So...9-panel combos are what summon the Bowser sign ("Kambank"), an instant kill. With luck manipulation and the "Drop more pieces!" button (X) this happens in a second or two every time. Novel, at least. Also amusing: "Kambank" says 安全第一, "Safety First!"

Good run, pirohiko. I liked seeing the levels completed so quickly, and was amused by the enemies that are normally inanimate objects (like the rice ball). Yes vote.

And it made the pi symbol to win. Almost as good as if it had said Eat At Joe's!

What the aresnist fuck is up with the rice ball and the little girl who actually gets KILLED by Mario? Not that there's something wrong with Mario I just didn't expect that in a Nintendo game.

As pirohiko said earlier:
She was a ghost. She was looking for a playfellow.
And considering that this is a Nintendo game (as you said) and each character is alive in the cutscene right after you defeat them (except obviously the ghost), it would be logical to conclude that none of them really die anyway.

This game seems too difficult to learn how to play. I have no idea what those 4 characters' purpose was.
I like Doraemon
