Do you ever think that oot any% can still be improved like an even faster block skip in gohmas room?
IIRC Bloobiebla managed to improve the Mido skip by a bunch of frames a while back, plus Skater managed somehow to get up onto the ledge without climbing up in Zora's River after the Aquascape (although that might have been because he jumped back into the water). SVA also found some new strats to kill Gohma through the wall, though I don't know if they're faster at all.
But aside from those I'd say our best bet for another worthwhile timesaver is finding a way to skip the web in F1 of the DT without climbing up at all, or finding a new way to do OI without a bottle (and without basically everything else...), or finding a new, really fast way to warp to the credits, or finding some more speed abusing glitches that we can use. As it stands right now, I doubt any of those will be found any time soon, if ever.

1.trigger Z
2.backflip and release trigger in same frame.
3.next possible frame - press Z again and hold up.
but that's not working for me, IF im not triggering a wall.

Basically GlitchesAndStuff is up against the edge of the grave with ISG activated, which makes the game act like he is up against a wall.
A wall or something compareable is necessary for a gainer.
If you don't have a wall you can use a foreward backflip:
frame1: 14 14, frame2: Z + down, frame 3: Z + up + A
But remember, you can't grab ledges in OoT out of flips and sidehops.

Analog stick values. Actually these might be a little different in OoT. Those work in MM. Basically it's ESS-position.

They should work with both. No idea what the problem is.

Probably has something to do with the camera angle.
A lot of speedrunners of Ocarina of Time any% are investigating the swordless (aka low%) route.
It's rumoured that it may be a few seconds faster than with sword route for RTA.
But I'm wondering, has anyone ever timed the two for TAS? Or is there a TAS-specific reason that ensures with sword route will be much faster without a new discovery, but for RTA it's closer?
