This is the very quickest game I've ever played! But, there was one death I made. In this game, "Kirby Super Star", I make a quick TAS through "Spring Breeze". Kirby has different partners in KSS.
Glitches: Infinite Floating: If you push B very fastly, Kirby can keep floating longer.

Noxxa: I am cancelling this run for a few reasons:
  • This run is eight minutes long. The published run by nitsuja clears it less than four, over twice as fast as your run. Another run of Spring Breeze [dead link removed] by MUGG clears it in less than three minutes, nearly cutting your time to a third. This run is slower than real-time records by several minutes as well. Bottom line, this run is severely suboptimal and fails to beat years-old existing records by a large amount.
  • No rerecords appear to have been used. You admit there was one death in the run, something very easily preventable with even basic usage of rerecords. You should read up on the tools used for TASing if you want to create a remotely optimized tool-assisted speedrun.
  • Clearing "Spring Breeze" only is not a publishable category. It by itself does not constitute clearing the game, and is superfluous to full runs that do aim to clear the game, such as the currently published run.
As you have already been warned twice about the quality of your submissions, your ability to submit movies has hereby been revoked. You will regain the ability to submit movies if or when you have demonstrated to be capable of creating tool-assisted speedruns worthy of publication on our site.

MegYesDKNo: Do you do any research? If you look at Nitsuja's published movie, he finishes Spring Breeze in fewer than four minutes! Also, if the death does not save you time, it is sloppy. You have no excuse for having sloppy play like that in a TAS when you can rerecord mistakes. I do not think you understand what a TAS should be. You've had these comments on other movies before. EDIT: Even if this is a 100% run, it's slower than a recent submission which was already suboptimal.
Used to be a frequent submissions commenter. My new computer has had some issues running emulators, so I've been here more sporadically. Still haven't gotten around to actually TASing yet... I was going to improve Kid Dracula for GB. It seems I was beaten to it, though, with a recent awesome run by Hetfield90 and StarvinStruthers. (http://tasvideos.org/2928M.html.) Thanks to goofydylan8 for running Gargoyle's Quest 2 because I mentioned the game! (http://tasvideos.org/2001M.html) Thanks to feos and MESHUGGAH for taking up runs of Duck Tales 2 because of my old signature! Thanks also to Samsara for finishing a Treasure Master run. From the submission comments:
Shoutouts and thanks to mklip2001 for arguably being the nicest and most supportive person on the forums.

Well, I'm gonna miss your runs showing up on the workbench. I didn't know that intended gameplay feature that's been in nearly every Kirby game was actually a glitch, though! Dang, I guess you really do learn something new every day!

Also I'm canceling this run because you have an incorrect version of an emulator. Correct me if I'm wrong
i think i got banned again... I don't know if I can do TASing at the moment. May in summer or something? Soon-ish... Aka. Chuterix, formerly ChutacoackoTAS (did I even address that name?) You are wrong, you do not have authority to cancel movies that are not yours. Also, this movie was rejected and sent to gruefood five years ago, it's a bit late to "cancel" now. EDIT: Also, it is not an incorrect version of an emulator, it's snes9x-rr v1.51, which is to date still an accepted version of snes9x-rr.
http://www.youtube.com/Noxxa <dwangoAC> This is a TAS (...). Not suitable for all audiences. May cause undesirable side-effects. May contain emulator abuse. Emulator may be abusive. This product contains glitches known to the state of California to cause egg defects. <Masterjun> I'm just a guy arranging bits in a sequence which could potentially amuse other people looking at these bits <adelikat> In Oregon Trail, I sacrificed my own family to save time. In Star trek, I killed helpless comrades in escape pods to save time. Here, I kill my allies to save time. I think I need help.

oh so i created my own kst spring breeze tas but im using v1.55 of snes9x also i'm not submitting this run nor putting it to userfiles also my run time is 3:29 4785 rerecords were used and 12558 frames. this is actually faster than the 8:06 run but eh the main goal is I mix like MUGGs run except i go with the wing ability and reset and i kill kracko. also i end the movie when i summon the rocky helper at king dedede battle edit: im using the usa version so i think no reset is faster https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sxplp71FRBI

If you want to discuss your own movie, or other movies that are not this submission or related to this submission, then please post in the appropriate game topic rather than bumping an old rejected submission topic.

I noticce there's a save file on File1, proving that the movie will never be published, due to the SRAM being not cleared.

The movie appears to desync on v1.55, and on the desynced version, Kirby dies twice. I can prove it because Kirby just messes around in the 2nd area of Green Greens.

Thanks for pointing that out Sherlock. You're checking between what can be noted as two very different states for this emulator, of course there's going to be major enough differences where game desyncs... What is with your posts? Mothrayas even told you what version when you were "rejecting it" cause it was "incorrect".

Your emulator settings differ too much: You don’t have the right version of the emulator. Ensure you used the correct emulator version. Usually, the author will state the version. If not stated, assume it is the most recent version.
Now I know why it desynced.
