In order to raise money for the first three places, we should be taking bets. Here are the point break down and the odds we'll be accepting: http://i.imgur.com/f7vqIlF.png http://i.imgur.com/ybRY79K.png 1 2:1 2 2:1 3 1:1 4 3:1 5 5:1 6 6:1 7 6:1 8 6:1 9 10:1 10 20:1 11 15:1 Let the gambling begin! (Betting closes once the game has been announced)

^Wait, there’s money to win in this? Is this post serious? I might just get interested.

I don't think it's serious. There's never been a monetary prize in a Dream Team Contest before, and Mothrayas would have mentioned if there was in this one. Also, MUGG's art is great. I managed to recognize everyone except the three people in the room next to Masterjun.

@Aqfaq Lol! It's actually good enough to live up that name, in my opinion. @thelegendarymudkip Awesome WIP on the front page! Your team's killing it so far :D

Isn't posting WIPs... kinda... not a good idea when you're competing against 10 other teams?
It was a trap. We logged everyone who downloaded it. Now we can disqualify all of you! ^_^ Evilness reigns supreme!

The following people have been caught downloading another player's WIP who was not on your team (some of you even downloaded it more than once): ars4326 Exonym Masterjun Mothrayas mugg Nach Samsara Truncated If you're competing, you've been disqualified. Thank you for playing, try again in DTC6. Updated odds of remaining teams will be posted within 24 hours. Edit: Team MMM who had the highest odds is now no longer a candidate. So everyone who bet on them, thank you for the free money. Masterjun, your 3 money is now mine.

I should mention that I bet everyone's ability to participate in the contest, so it looks like everyone's disqualified now.

Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa! Nach, you've got me all wrong! I actually thought the WIP said 'Star Force', another foreign NES game. I can send you money plead my case. Honest!

Isn't organizing a bet somewhat risky? If everybody bets eg. for team 1, and it happens to win, you'll have to pay them the total amount of bets from your own pocket...

Not risky at all, we've already thought of this.

Can I place a bet on Nach to mysteriously win despite not even participating?

Masterjun, I spoke to my lawyer regarding how much you owe me. Since you didn't specify in which currency you bet the money in, we can agree that at the very least it was bet using the weakest currency in recent history, so you definitely owe me at least that much. So weakest currency in recent history would be the Turkish Lira which was traded at 1.3 million Liras to 1 US Dollar. Please pay me the equivalent of 3 Turkish Liras at your soonest possible convenience, thank you!
I bet -1 money on everyone except MMM.
I'll take that bet at negative rules, meaning I pay you 1 money for each up front, and then you pay me back at the rate of odds for every team that loses. You get to keep the 1 money for the winning team, if any. Thank you!

That's not a bet we're taking, and for obvious reasons.

I thought you only get your (negative) moneys back if the team you bet on wins, not loses!

How about 4, and we'll call it even?

On negative rules, the win/lose payout system is reversed as well. Next time clarify the rules before betting, it's all in the ToS.
