Thanks to everyone who's been following the progress of this TAS; there's a lot to list: Warepire, arandomgameTASer, Samsara, DwainiumB, Mothrayas and others.

Noxxa: Judging.

xy2_: It is with an heavy heart and sorry thoughts that I cancel this run. The reason is sync issues. The first level of this run was started on DeSmuME 0.9.11, before switching to DeSmuME 0.9.9 (thanks to arandomgameTASer), where it 'magically' synced. I never looked back, and this is the mistake that bites me in the back; so to speak. This run is close to unsavable and due to the ridiculous lag of this game, any form of anesthesy is in vain.
You can still watch the entire run over at the thread, starting from here.
This is one of the most unfortunate decisions I've had to make, but I fear that this site just not see an Assassin's Creed TAS this year. Gameloft and Ubisoft win for now. My motivation has not faltered, however, and I'll hope to bring this TAS back in the future.
xy2_: An edit: the TAS does somewhat sync by starting the movie with Bus-Timing off, savestating at frame 76302, enabling Bus-Timing, restarting the ROM, and load the state again. This brings up the question of legitimity; however, the TAS still desyncs 177k frames in this way.

Followed this from the start. Poor game didn't stand a chance. Yes vote of course.
effort on the first draft means less effort on any draft thereafter - some loser

This TAS is currently on a very tight lifeline.. arandomgameTASer started this movie on 0.9.11 and converted it to 0.9.9 for the first level, which brings its problem: the loading screen is 2 frames slower. Considering this is Altaïr's Chronicles; this brings a huge desync to the entire movie. I'll try to salvage it with some syncing and give a synced movie here, but if this is unrecoverable, I'll be sad to say that the best contender for DS TAS of 20XX is dead. This doens't mean the fight will be given up: a new version will be made, with the many improvements I've learned over the making of this movie.

I wished you provided a rough number on where it started desyncing. TAS desyncs at ~75k in. Edit: Oh hey, it lives. Publishing when it gets accepted, if it gets accepted, if carrots are the root of all evil. Edit2: And it died again.

Damn, it's such a shame this desynced :( I too have been following your progress and was looking forward to the final product. I'll have to watch all the WIPs in order to get the same result. Here's hoping that this is resyncable!
