I had an idea about a possible improvement over the currently published movie: what about defeating Heishin early in order to get a strong card or two? If you don't know this game: This is a collectionable card videogame from the famous Yu-Gi-Oh series. Its quirk is that you may summon monsters by doing a chain summon, that is selecting more than one monster card which will fused in the chosen order, two at time. You can have the list of possible fusions here: https://www.gamefaqs.com/ps/561010-yu-gi-oh-forbidden-memories/faqs/16613 Another peculiar thing is that when you summon a monster, you have to choose between two astrological signs, which will give that monster a 500-points advantage or disvantage when fighting a monster with a different sign set. When you win, you get a card as prize, which will depend on the characted defeated and your luck. Intial deck is also very random. For the rest, the rules are the same as traditional Yu-Gi-Oh play.

As much as I love the normal version, I think a TAS of a hack version would be more interesting. Link to video On the normal version, you can win Twin-headed Thunder Dragon by defeating Heishin, but I think this is not worth it.

That's a neat hack, but I wonder if it would be worth the effort to TAS it. It looks just too easy from the technical point of view, compared to the original game.

Well, actually... Link to video It is really hard to get Meteor Black Dragon on Heishin fight, due to the fact you have only 1 possibility out of 512 and you have to win fast in the meantime.

I think your stragagy still can improve if have more lucky. Except the first battle, every battles next you can make end in turn 2. I know you need RNG for draw needed cards, that's why if you have more lucky or try find a best RNG to do the best plant is turn 1 you have draw card 3500 atk, next make AI draw card under 2500 atk and attack you for lost at least 1000 HP. Then, turn 2 draw card 3500 atk again, then finish battle I'm wondering how about new game+ or use load save file for get best cards, then easy win every battles in only 1 turn

I do that for everyone except Pegasus, Heishin 2, Seto 3, DarkNite, and Nitemare. It turns out that strategy doesn't work for those duelists, because they can see your face-down monsters and will never suicide into them in the circumstances you describe. The only way to win in 1 turn is Exodia. The Exodia cutscene is very long, so long in fact that a 2 turn non-Exodia win is faster. I've not checked how Exodia compares to the 3 turns. You can certainly do DarkNite in 2 turns in an NG+ run: MBD + Megamorph, he sets a harmless trap, play a second MBD for game (he can start out with no monsters). But if you had BEUD, you could summon an 8000 atk BEUD turn 1 with triple Megamorph and Dragon Treasure/Bright Castle and Raigeki/Crush Card turn 2, or do something turn 1 that means they don't play a monster and then play the 8k BEUD. If someone wanted to make that for TASVideos, they'd have an issue where they have to make a movie of a save that gets the BEUD. I suppose you could disc swap to get 000 to glitch a BEUD if such a thing were allowed. Oh, you could also play Tremendous Fire turn 1 and follow it up with a 7k MBD. That can be set up easily enough. But that'd leave you with a 3 turn Nitemare.

I guess Exodia way is shortest, but it very hard to make RNG, get 5 cards in once times isn't easy with BEUD, just need 2 its cards and some magic cards for power up if need, make AI kill itself feos comfirmed swap disk have allow do TAS: http://tasvideos.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=20270. So, you can get 3 BEUD cards for TAS

Drawing a specific 5 cards isn't the hardest thing in the world, because you could set up your deck in advance specifically to make it work. Although BEUD is faster anyway, so if you can use that it doesn't matter. All feos said in that topic is if it's a game that requires multiple discs, then it's allowed. You do not need multiple discs to play FM, so it's not covered by what they said. Oh, another thing. If you were allowed to disc swap in Any%, you'd skip the Heishin MBD and get a strong monster from disc swap. BEUD requires Ancient Tool so not a good option, but Gate Guardian requires Supporter in the Shadows which you could do.

if I have correct remember, BEUD single card don't require other cards, you can draw it same all other normal cards btw, I have confuse with you about what feos said - require: example FF8, of course for game continue run - allow use: game have allow use other disc for get something new, example Monster Rancher series - can take advantage: example this game, can use for create card bug So, how I should understand now?

Yes, BEUD can be drawn like every other card if you have it in your deck. I have asked at http://tasvideos.org/forum/viewtopic.php?p=471647#471647 whether disc swapping would be allowed in this situation. So, just wait and see what the judges say on the matter.

why disc sawp is need for NG+? If you use save, just need beat AI for get BEUD cards by RNG. Disc sawp at this just help easy do more than, not only one way hmm allow do disc sawp for TAS maybe is important point make change basic TAS. I know some games have bugs if make disc sawp while play. But I heard at somewhere there's unfair way, need abandon, example speedrun on TwitchTV
