  • Abuses programming errors in the game
  • Heavy Manipulates luck
  • Ban Pause/Start
  • Genre: Fighting
Mighty Final Fight is an ancient Act Game likes many Arcade Games. There are much randomness in this game.It looks that everything is unpredictable, enemy's life, enemy's action, enemy's direction, enemy's interval, even enemy's quantity. So Manipulates luck is my powerful weapon. This run is 2724 frames(45.4 seconds) faster than the previous published [1062] NES Mighty Final Fight by Xipo in 09:06.62.Improvement comes from four aspects:1,better details;2,better strategy;3,better Manipulates luck;4,new glitch.

Some explanation,data and glitch

Character:Haggar, the hot-tempered wrestler and mayor of metro city.He is very powerful, but flexibility is his weakness.Fortunately,he has a serial punch:B,B,B,B+forward,B,B,B,B+forward......after level4.It's not necessary to take damage and death. The only regret is that there is no death show in elevator in Stage4-2.Manipulates luck is very hard in this tas, because player must manipulate many elements in same frame.Pause/Start in game can help us do it more conveniently. But Pause/Start will reduce appreciation,so I ban it.Then,Glitch:Dart Cut,I was lucky to find elderly's dart counts as a KILL,this means player can miss a few enemies. Here is the detailed data:
StageMinimum enemy quantityMinimum enemy lifeleast interval

Fog: Replaced movie file with correct file.
feos: I explained everything in this judgment note. While I find this and the existing run decent and nice, the overwhelming majority of publication raters disagree with having it in Moons. And in Vault, we can only have one any% branch, which is now Guy. Rejecting.

hello, xipo! I believe a lot of TASes currently in the site use pause for luck manipulation without subtracting from entertainment or just go straight to vault,so it shouldn't be a problem if you decided to use it here too.But it's your decision anyway.
TAS i'm interested: megaman series: mmbn1 all chips, mmx3 any% psx glitched fighting games with speed goals in general

Ye~I noticed that some tas use pause for luck manipulation, for example Castlevania, but the pause was low repetition.I can't imagine there will be dozens pause in the movie which is only 8.5 minutes length("▔□▔)/...So just enjoy it

Link to video Edit: Yes vote. This is a great run done on a great game. Also, I like how brutal is Haggar fighting style.
my personal page - my YouTube channel - my GitHub - my Discord: thunderaxe31 <Masterjun> if you look at the "NES" in a weird angle, it actually clearly says "GBA"

I'm wondering about this "Takes no damage" designation. Haggar doesn't take any damage from enemy attacks, but he does lose health from using his spin attacks.
TASing or playing back a DOS game? Make sure your files match the archive at RGB Classic Games.

Thank you for the encode, ThunderAxe31! This is a great run. I always enjoy watching this short beat-em-up, with its fun graphics style and humorous animations. I can tell there's much better work here at fighting two enemies simultaneously, and the exploits involving the knife guys are really good. It's a bit of a shame that it's no longer faster to kill yourself in the elevator shaft. How much time do you save with this new strategy?
Used to be a frequent submissions commenter. My new computer has had some issues running emulators, so I've been here more sporadically. Still haven't gotten around to actually TASing yet... I was going to improve Kid Dracula for GB. It seems I was beaten to it, though, with a recent awesome run by Hetfield90 and StarvinStruthers. (http://tasvideos.org/2928M.html.) Thanks to goofydylan8 for running Gargoyle's Quest 2 because I mentioned the game! (http://tasvideos.org/2001M.html) Thanks to feos and MESHUGGAH for taking up runs of Duck Tales 2 because of my old signature! Thanks also to Samsara for finishing a Treasure Master run. From the submission comments:
Shoutouts and thanks to mklip2001 for arguably being the nicest and most supportive person on the forums.

You can see perfect elevator death show in my Haggar V4 which is 23 seconds slower than this run.I meant to submit V4,but I found the glitch in the end of the movie.I think I can do better with reference.Elevator death show will bring the first enemy to death faster(make the third enemy appear faster) and bring the second enemy to death slower(make the fourth enemy appear slower).Wrestling is just the opposite,it bring the first enemy to death slower(make the third enemy appear slower) and bring the second enemy to death faster(make the fourth enemy appear faster). The number of the enemy in elevator is 12,even numbe. So,Wrestling is better.

As with your "Guy" run...the same applies here, only that this one is more entertaining as others have mentioned. Voting yes again.
I recently discovered that if you haven't reached a level of frustration with TASing any game, then you haven't done your due diligence. ---- SOYZA: Are you playing a game? NYMX: I'm not playing a game, I'm TASing. SOYZA: Oh...so its not a game...Its for real? ---- Anybody got a Quantum computer I can borrow for 20 minutes? Nevermind...eien's 64 core machine will do. :) ---- BOTing will be the end of all games. --NYMX
